Am sitting here with all Rick's Easter candy and goodies under the bed and he doesn't know I bought them for him!!! I even bought him a camoflaged (sp) Easter basket that he saw at the dollar store lol!!!! So talk about not getting into that candy and other goodies!!! Who would know besides me at this point??? But I would feel bad if I got into it because its for my Sweetheart for Easter! He will be surprised that I got him his favorites!! Peanut Butter cups, BBQ Pork Rinds, Pistachios, and I forget what else I have under there...lol best not look or I may be tempted to try some...lol!!!

Hope you give your hubby a shock when he sees you with all the weight you lost since he last saw you!!! Let me know how he looks when he sees the newer you!!!

REMEMBER VICKIE, food can speak to us. If it is in the house then IT can be heard not matter which room.
That is why even 7 years post op, crusty Italian bread isn't invited to our home often. Oh I always go and visit the specialty bread department in stores. I ooooh and aaaah, pick them up, feel them up, caress them, take a sniff even through their plastic wrap. Then I put them back. Some people like to visit jewelry stores and look at the gems there. My gems are in the bread isle. But just like those gems in the jewelry stores we CAN'T always get what we want.
So be careful. Your grandson will have a joyous Easter basking in the reason of the season. Those candies will last a second on the lips and maybe lifetimes on his hips. They did mine. Fostering good nutritional habits at young ages is something I wish had happened to me and then to my children. Giving him a book, starting a treasure box just for Grannie's special gifts will give joy each visit. Those moments will leave a taste forever....greater than any piece of candy will ever do. I know.

Hello Monica and all OFF,
I'm so happy for you Monica. What a great job you are doing.
Nancy and Julia, I am sorry for your loss. Two very special ladies have gone to their rest.
I'm heading to my ortho doc for steroid shot in an hour. He is not gentle, but the best ortho surgeon in the region. This left knee hasn't quit hurting in 3 weeks.  When I lose 25 more pounds I can Have it replaced.
I go to my Bariatic surgeon tomorrow. He also removed my gallbladder in February. The incision at the belly button is still bleeding and has a not nice discharge at times. It concerns me. Probably just need antibiotics.
You all take care. Have a wonderful day.     Mag
