Pre-Hump Day What's UP

Morning all. Sober 160 days and so proud of me.
Expecting Tstorms today. Watching the landscape lush up after last weeks storms is delightful. Lawns green. Sorry our northern states are getting hit with flooding and bad weather. Mother Nature is so powerful.
Wishing the news from Japan would get better instead of worse. Many strong after quakes and the radiation containment isn't working.
Hubby found 4 beautiful tan metal armed outdoor chairs and a round table at recycle center. CLR cleaned them up. Recycled free stuff is nice. Still looking for a used ladder.
Made app for hubby at Day Spa here. Muscles in lower back and surrounding artifical hip in spasms. The pain isn't bad, but we are scheduled to move the RV from this site to our new shaded site on Friday. I thought he would object spending $$$ on his body, but he didn't.
I'd like to imagine that after I went so ballistic with the VA last week, he is scared of ME. Also like to imagine he "sees" the benefits of being pro-active and not re-active.
So sad that Nancy B's mom passed on while she was far away from home on vacation. That trip home sounded stressful.
Wishing you all a safe, great day, with smiles, no pain, mindful eating and continue success. Thank you for sustaining me, Monica

Good morning all.  Gonna be a long week.  Getting up at  noon each day to watch the Rangers game.  They are in Detroit through Wednesday playing day games.

Things are going good here.  One wee****il my birthday.  Got a bunch of free meals in my email this morning.  Gotta decide which I will take advantage of.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

I think your Rangers pixelated my Red Soxs. Their 2011 season is stuck. Hope you can remember being a little boy thinking about your upcoming birthday and wondering what you special day will be like. Anticipating good days instead of bad days is what I am working on.

I anticipate my birthday being a great one.  Leaving work early the night before and spending the entire day with my wife.  We will be going to the Rangers vs Angels game that night, so it has to be good.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Well if the Tigers had to lose, at least it was to the Rangers!
I hope Detroit does better today.

Good Morning off!
Quick run by from Owosso this am.  We are wandering again.  the  county is doing something next door to us about cleanup of an old dump site and there are toxic fumes for someone like me who has severe allergies  so off exploring in the motorhome.   We exchanged a parking space for some labor for some elderly friends who needed lawn cleanup done!  Worked well for all!
Prayers going up for all friends here  and hoping all have a great day!

Good morning everyone. I have not been on line much in the past week so am catching up today. My job kept me on the road for a week, and I spent the weekend at our son's for granddaughter's first birthday party.

I enjoy reading all of the contributions here!

I am working at home today and headed to the gym. I have some work tasks to keep me busy the next couple of days, then I have meetings on Thurs., Fri., and Sat. It's a busy month work wise but I will then be able to spend a couple of weeks in FL, which is the light at the end of the tunnel!

It is chilly and raining here in PA today - brrrr! - after a record high temp yesterday.

160 days!  I'm so proud of you, Monica!

Today will be a busy one.  Helping at the local thrift store this morning (and maybe doing a little shopping...).  This afternoon, going to the local Seniors' Center to hopefully start learning to play Mahjonng, then tonight book club.

I'm not usually this busy, but every once in a while, everything seems to fall on the same day.  I'll rest tomorrow, I guess.

I went through ONE of the closets this past weekend and pulled out 2 large bags of stuff to donate.  I KNOW the stuff came out of there, but can't see much of a difference.... One closet down(the smallest one).  Five more to go.

My compulsion to eat has morphed into a compulsion for clothes.  And I seem to be stockpiling food and cooking more, which could be a problem as it leads back to the eating compulsion.  I'm almost 4 tears post op.  One would think I'd have gotten my ducks lined up by now, but they keep wandering off.  (Dumb analogy, but it's one that is easy to visualize...)

It's warming up here finally.  Got to start thinking peat moss....

One more cuppa, then breakfast, then off to sort clothes at the center. Everyone have a great day.

Candy

I was reading your post to hubby and dirty old man that he is, thought I said strip club instead of thirft shop. He inserts sexual inunendo into everything. On those days he speaks his mind out loud, I have begun to really use my right hand for him to stop. Less talk and you could get more action. Kinda like training Yoda about certain things he needs to work on. I am amazed to think that all men might think as he does, scary.
