She worked my shoulder muscles and my back muscles that were so tight as a drum and taped them. They were so full of fluid and swelling and so was my right arm that was reduced of skin. susan watch the lymphodemia from your brachioplasty!!!!! . I am taped to get the swelling down and fluid down from that too. maybe Ill loose another 10 pounds!!!!!

Hi Monica and my OFF family:

We're all so proud of your sobriety ... it's hard to fight any addiction when you are going through stress like you are, so I'm happy you are able to have some place to turn to. We are all here for you. I'm glad the VA came through with the meds.

The weather has turned hot and humid already ... up to 85 today and there's this little gecko out in my front yard running up and down the old fence plank. Juliette is oblivious.

I had a busy night at work. The other two papers I work for made their typeface switch, but it wasn't as smooth as Monroe's ... the last one was a mess, lots of problems. I did seven pages last night and I was really sore when I got home. Didn't get to sleep til 4 a.m. and woke up several times ... I was having problems.

Well, not much happening here ... back to work tonight again. Hope all is well for everyone today. Have a good one.

Aloha Off friends......I am always late even though it's only 8:00 a.m on Maui. Monica a hearty congratulations on your steps toward success in replace joy for alcoholism. Tis a life changing choice that will reap many rewards.

Yesterday at the hospital was a little sad. I tested two babies and they passed hearing test easily. However, I had two babies that were another story. One baby as full tern and was scheduled for a C-section but mother didn't arrive at the hospital in time and baby was "born in utero" and died before he could be gotten out. So very sad. The hallway was FULL of baby's Ohana....probably 40 people. All waiting for this angel to be born. Lot sof crying, wailing, and extreme sadness. Then, there was a baby born to a homeless mom who boyfriend was a big time druggie and he came in shouting that he wanted her out AMA even though she had a C-section. He wsas crazy! The hospital shooed him out, but the mother was very agitated and wanted to leave, too. Baby did NOT pass hearing tests....the easy or the compliated. Worry that Mom's drug use was the casue. I blessed that little one and wished the his HP would find him home where he could flourish. So very sad. It was an emotional rocky day . I will go in today to see if there is anything I an do to calm them and have them stay for more tests.

Today is clean out house and take a bunch of stuff to Savers. Will feel lighter when that is done. Hope you all have a day with highs and lows that don't bring you down. Keep up the great work!

Aloha maui nui

Hi Monica and all my OFF friends,
I'm late on here but tomorrow I leave for Disney with the Grandkids.  I'm so excited.  I am so proud of you Monica.  Resisting under pressure is really hard and you did it!!!
Warm hugs and best wishes to all on this board.
I will check in with you next two Mondays from today and tell you all about being with the Grandkids.  I've been losing weight, not really trying but busy and not taking the time to eat sometimes.
I'm sure with all the walking I'll be doing at Disney that more weight will come off.  I will stay hydrated.  I have to be very careful that I wear sun protection.  I found a cream with 100 spf!  I have vitiligo and the chemo is also a reason for being careful in the sun.  I have a couple of hats I'm taking also.  Most of my tops are 3/4 sleeves and capris are as short as my pants get.  I should be OK.
Have a great week everyone.
Love,
Bev
