It's 55 degrees, supposed to get warmer, even though it's overcast.    I can't seem to get my butt in gear and go outside to work a little, even though I know that once I'm out there, I won't want to come in. It seems harder every year to get started.  As usual, in the Spring I'm pre-overwhelmed at all that needs to be done, so instead of doing a little every day, I have a hard time starting to do anything.  This is a fairly new syndrome for me, only the past few years.  At least with yard work.  I love the finished product, but would happily pay someone to come and do all the Spring start up, except for the cost and the fact I'd never be satisfied with the way it was done.

Such a dilemma.  Getting older and more crochety every single day.

Feel free to kick my butt, everyone.  Maybe it'll get me moving.

No butt kicking. Do it in your own sweet time.

I don't do yard work. Every year I venture out, all set to work. Without fail - there is a damned SNAKE waiting for me. End of my contribution to yard chores.

Well, Annette, you may not have kicked my butt, but SOMEone did!  Just got in from almost 3 hours of dirt digging.  No snakes, but plenty of worms.

One flower bed is cleaned out and ready to start blooming.  Several rather large plants/shrubs have been dug up and moved, and holes made for the 6 new bare root flowering shrubs that I ordered and will be picking up in a week or so.  Feet hurt, back hurts, wrists are killing me, and I feel GOOD!!!!

Must be Spring.  'Bout time!

Too bad there isn't a local girl or boy needing a spring job. They's make some $$$. You know before hand the job wouldn't be up to your snuff, the groundwork would be laid of getting the ugly under stuff out. Hubby usually gets sidetracked on jobs. Starts one thing, sees something else and then wonder why he didn't get done what he started out to do.

Good Morning Carla,
I am dealing with water retention in my left foot, from the surgery I had three weeks ago.  My foot, and especially the toes, are swollen something fierce, so I empathize.

I have nothing exciting to share today.  I will probably go to my sister's to play Scrabble with Mom.  I am not looking forward to it, because my foot prefers to be elevated but I am not able to avoid it anymore.

I hope everyone has a blessed day.

Hugs,
Trish
Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Wish the doctor would tape it up like Carla had done to her shoulder. That greatly reduced the retained fluids. Swollen areas put add pressure and discomfort. Feel better.
