Sober 153 days and so proud of me. Youngest child turns 27 today. Remembering lots of things about that day and our lives together. We are so proud of him. Hope he can enjoy the day and find happiness in it. Still so down about his car accident and being sore and not being able to go NOW to Montana.
Tired the AM. Had a up down nigh****ched the new AMC series "The Killing". Wonderful cast and very well done. Gripping, raw, real, tragic, and intimate.
Not much planned. It will be 90 here with high humidity. Right now nice with a gorgeous breeze. Yoda had a perky walk, me too with my small perky girls and no traveling bra on. House cleaned up,new awning so nice, getting melons ready to cut up and enjoy. Last nights veal cutlets delicious.
Hope all have a great Monday. I appreciate your support, friendship and love. Monica

Too funny, Karen!!

For me, having had a lumpectomy, I would be walking in circles!!(One side is much bigger than the other because of that surgery!)...lol

I only go braless when I'm alone at home ... otherwise they're down to my waist and I'd scare someone.

Good Morning Everyone,

Carla, sorry to hear about your fender-bender. Make sure you get checked out even if you think you are fine.

This is my spring break. After spending the weekend at our daughter's helping the continual move in saga we are now on the Oregon coast. We're in a little cottage over looking the stormy Pacific Ocean. Our little cabin is like a small apartment. I like to throw  food in from home, condiments, stuff that is available so that we don't have to send a fortune at the store. These little resort towns really clip you at the store. I think there is an unwritten rule that all of the businesses are to do their best to make sure that you don't leave town with any money in your pocket.

I come to the beach to renew my soul with walking, the sounds of the surf and birds, the salty air, agate hunting, poking around the tidepools. . .  not much money needed for that. Our little apartment is old fashioned, but clean and has a wonderful view.

We have Maggie with us. Guess I should have brought her an umbrella. We just spent 30 minutes walking around the "dog area" to no avail. She could not find the perfect spot in the rain. After 30 minutes I hauled her back in, dried her off, and reminded her that inside is NOT appropriate even if she is dry. We'll try again later. She gave me a dirty look after scolding and towel drying, crawled into her bed under another blanket and is sound asleep. I need to do the same but I think I'll opt for a cup of coffee and a hot shower!

We'll be here until Wednesday when we head back to Erin's on our way to Seattle Saturday for ou son's 30th birthday. Have a great week everyone.

Good morning Carla and everyone......

Carla....I ditto what the others have said.....worry about a concussion too!

I am busy with miss Grace this morning. Just finishing up our second load of laundry. Need to run to the grocery store ...we forgot  tomatoes for our Super Nacho's for dinner tonight.  I also want to stop at the shoe store. I found a wonderful pair of spike heels I just have to have them. I should have got them yesterday when I saw them!! I hope they are still there. I wear high heals all the time....every season!
Grace is dusting while I am on the computer....she loves to dust...silly girl!

I am really looking forward to my trip to MN on the 14th. I will be there until the evening of the 17th. Short trip but I need to spend time with my friends.

Wishing you all a really nice day. Prayers for those in need.

Love and hugs to all....connie d

Hi Carla and OFF,  I also have to ditto the headache. Please have it checked out.
I'm for Butler to win tonight. First because I grew up in Indiana (about 2 hours from Butler.) Second because my niece, Emily, graduated from there. She is soooo intelligent, but I'll go into that another time.   Mag
