Sunshine Saturday, whats up?
Morning all!
Sitting here waiting on my new kitchen furniture delivery. Then my daughter and I are going shopping for an Easter outfit for Benny. Maybe some items for his Easter basket, too. Lots of fun days here, but it's too much for my mom. She said she would probably just stay home this afternoon and rest.
We had a great time yesterday afternoon in Wimberley. Seems like I bought a little something in every shop we went in! But it was lots of fun. Ate dinner at the local cafe. I had grilled trout and veggies. The trout was delicious! I brought most of it home with me for today's dinner.
Looking forward to my 6 week checkup with Dr. Garth on Monday. I want to see what I weigh!!! I know I am down. I can tell by the way my clothes fit.

Hi Monica and my OFF family:
It's after 1 p.m. already ... I'm watching my White Sox, they're winning 5-3 but the Indians are threatening again because our pitcher just walked two. Last inning, it was two errors. Well, yesterday we won 15-10 ... it was 14-0 when I left for work, but we hung on.
Last night at work wasn't as bad as I expected. Things went pretty smoothly and I didn't have as many questions as I thought I would with the new styles. I think that will help when I go back to the other newspapers next week. And I have two days off in a row (Mon-Tues). So that's nice.
Didn't sleep all that well, however ... you were cold, I was hot. Woke up at 5:30 a.m. sweating again ... couldn't get back to sleep, and my back was bothering me. Wound up taking a pain pill and grabbing the ice pack and reading for awhile before I could go back to sleep. I hadn't had an episode like this for a couple of days ... thought maybe the Cymbalta was starting to work ... nah!
It's climbing up to 80 degrees today ... Juliette was lounging out here, watching the geckos on the patio for awhile. I think your dog was a cat in former life and now wonders why he can't climb anymore. The little gecko on my patio was a bright green and then turned to olive green when it got on the brick support pillar ... kinda neat.

well...ive successfully done nothing today-unpacked two big boxes, fixed brunch, made a 3pm snack and have watched westerns( a john wayne and robert mitchum -love them !!!) and a borgnine movie-loved him too! and it was set in the 1930s on trains...heaven to me!!!!
have no clue whats for supper nor where ill find a pan to cook it in!!!!

does anyone remember louise day/ what has happened to her? i think of her when there are big forest fires-is she lurking????
i need a new bra!!!
i may be real quiet for awhile- our work is not happy that i have been online-and they really don't like us talking on "sites like this"-and they say they monitor so i don't wanna get in trouble....

I am doing fine just very, very busy. Was outside in the great temps today...love not having to wear all those clothes and jackets!!
