Monday Monday...so what's UP
Sober 145 days and so proud of me.
Had a really nice weekend. Quiet, with laughter, great cribbage games, Yoda love. Watched a movie "Disturbia" and enjoyed it, good young actors. Also watched " Lawrence of Arabia", wondering how different our world would be now if the tribes could have formed a union of states instead of making the middle east a ripe area to colonize.
Glad those traveling made it home safely. Hope Karen C has a great PS consult.
Hugs to all, Monica
I'm sipping a chai with protien this morning and letting my hair dry before getting dressed for work. Multi tasking by listening to the news too!
Monica, I know what you mean about mothers. I have always endevored to not berate Matt and probably went too much the other way, but he turned out pretty good inspite of me!
The truck got unloaded yesterday and now I have tons of boxes to go thru again and try to sort it all out. I'm going to leave most of it boxed up if I don't need it after a certain length of time, out it goes. (except of course basket making supplies, yarn, beads etc!) I fell asleep in the chair last night twice, then went to bed and fell asleep reading then finally put the c-pap on and hit until 0530!
Not much new, back to work today! then will hopefully hit the pool with Carol for some movement and gentle exercise! Have a great day all!
The sun is shining here in Michigan but it's cold but will warm up later this week. Sunshine! Makes me happy!! Come on sing the song with me this morning!
Going to the dentist after work today, getting a crown. My mouth sure is getting expensive! LOL
Hugs and prayers for all in need. Hugs Debbie
Only time for a quick check in right now. Monday's tend to be very busy. Miss Gracie will be back from her dad's soon. I sure have been missing her!
Wishing you all a really great day!
Prayers for those in need...a few special ones for a few special people.
I will try to check back later .
Love and hugs to all....connie d
Good mornin' ya'll.
You know a computer is a little like my body. One thing goes wrong, you fix it and something else goes wrong. In this throw away era, my DH and I decided that this year, if something can be fixed, we will fix it, and not buy a new whatever. Well I have repaired my 'puter twice, now my wireless adapter is being abstnate. Do I just get a new adapter, or get an entire new router and adapter?
It was 35 here this morning. We have even set a few records around the area for cold. Last week we were setting records for warm. Fickle weather. Where did Spring go? Oh well, I know it will be back soon.
PT this morning then a quick stop at Sam's for water and paper products.
I hope everyone who was travelling got home safely. Hugs for all those dealing with problems.
Everyone have a fantabulous day!
Good luck to all today! Sounds like Old Man Winter is trying to hang on! April is right around the corner. We will just have to outlast him!

Good Morning Monica and those to follow,
I've missed you all. Left my laptop at home on purpose as this has been a "working" weekend. Arrived in Seattle with about an hour to spare for Kristin's bridal shower. I had met her mother one time before but it was nice to spend some time with her and other family and friends. Kristin is a lovely young woman inside and out.
Following the shower Erin and I headed back south to her home arriving at almost midnight. Drove through heavy traffic in the rain and dark, not things that I like to do but I made it. Sure love my GPS. It got us out of a residential neighborhood and right back on the freeway headed in the right direction!
Saturday was spent applying Murphy's oil soap and water to the knotty pine walls in Erin's upstairs at the farmhouse. The entire ground floor has been gutted and redone but the upstairs will have to wait a few years. So we cleaned and worked at getting it ready for beds for the 3 little ones. The knotty pine walls were so dry. They look much better after the oil soap, but could use more. However, it is clean and that is the main thing. The twins were given trundle beds and a dresser by my niece whose girls have outgrown them. They bought new zebra strips sheets. . . Have any of you seen "Racing Stripes?" It's a movie about a little zebra who thinks he is a racing horse. Anyway, adorable movie and hence the Zebra passion!
I left about 2pm Sunday worn out, not as sore as I thought I'd be. Came up and spent the night with Nate and Kristin as my consultation is at 10am here in Seattle. I am anxious to complete that and see what the recommendation and costs will be for sure. Then driving back home later today and back to work tomorrow.
Must hit the shower and get on the road as there will be plenty of traffic. I'll report back tonight. You all have a great day!

Just a quick pop in to say I hope your consultation went well and you learned all sorts of good stuff.
Erin's house sounds wonderful, I bet I'd like it. We looked at houses this weekend and while some were nice none of them could float our boat like ours here at home does. Hopefully, we will have the hard task of selling this one and finding one that DOES float our boat where ever Tom gets a job. My boats harder to float than Tom's is. :-)
