Monica, I thought about this post of yours all day long and still not sure if I qualify to post on this...lol you see Rick and I had met while in a NASCAR chat room about 10 years ago. We talked just about every night since then and got to know each other very well!!! It will be 4 years this November that we finally met face to face!!! And we have been together ever since. Well minus a few weeks in between with me still living in Michigan and Rick living in Ohio and both of us traveling back and forth to see each other. He had tried to find a job in Michigan but no luck. So I started looking in Ohio and lucked out!! So here I am living with a man that loves me to pieces and I had never been so happy in my life!!!! We know each other so well and sure we have our fights but then what couple doesn't? HaHa!! He has some strange ways of doing things and he says I also have done some weird things but we get over it. It works for us. We have been living together for just over 3 years now and love every minute of it!!! I never knew love like this before in my life!!

Anyhow, we agreed that we would never lie or cheat nor strike one another in rage. So far so good! :-) We love each other and that we both hope and pray lasts for the rest of our lives. We have talked of marriage but neither one of us wants to do that. We are happy the way things are now. Rick gave me a diamond ring and that is all I need. I am his and he is mine. Life IS good!!! He does so much for me especially when I am hurting with this pain I am in. He worries about me and takes care of me. He loves me and he loves Bandit and Bandit loves him also! (Now if we could figure out what to do about his family...his words not mine....lol)

So that is my story and I am sticking to it!!!! And we also use Duct tape around here!!! LOL ;-)

Well, I'm no expert, but I think you qualify!  Love is a precious gift, and no matter how we come to it, it deserves to be cherished and nutured.  If you and Rick are happy, then that's all that matters.  The where, when, why and how of it is really nobody else's business.

I'm happy for you, my friend!  Now if the doctor can just make that pain go away!
