In Ohio now!
Thanks for the well wishes for travel. They came true! I got here yesterday about 3:45 pm, didn't leave until about 1015 am so made decent time. Made it as far as 50 miles from Buffalo Friday night. No problems driving and the dogs were angels. Last night and today I opened all the boxes that were taped shut and sorted everything parents had put in the family room. Have a huge pile for donating and a huge pile so far to take with me. Tomorrow I start in the garage. UGH! Then still have to clean everything too. the renters are coming over tomorrow to discuss a few things I guess. Not sure what all they want to talk about, I hope it's to tell me they don't want to rent! What ever happens will happen I guess. Anyway, all fine here, got to visit with parents last night, dad today, my brother came up to see me, rest of his family is sick. My good friend Michelle and her husband stopped in and then Matt stopped in. so good to see everyone! I'll be heading back to VT on Friday morning I think, I'm at McD's right now for the free wi fi. had a cuppa tea and some unmentionables.... but will be heading back pretty soon. No internet at my house of course, It is raining and cold here today! Nice yesterday but cold today! brr and it's cold in here too! I"m freezing!

So, Debbie, curious here. It seems like you've embraced Vermont and your new life there. What is it like to return to what was"home?" Hope that it is all going well for you. I'm sure its wonderful to see family and friends even with all that you have to do. Hope all goes well with the renters to be. Perhaps they want to buy the house! Sending warm hugs your way.

weird! Alot of them indicated they missed me because of stuff I used to do, but I am sure they are doing just fine with out me. I still feel I made the right move for ME. perhaps not for them, but for me it was. I didn't want to work for the new big coglomerate they are merging with and I had the opportunity and took it. Of course I miss the people a lot, but I think I have a good niche where I am.
Monica, thanks for the good thoughts! the dogs are doing just fine. They love the back yard and can run around a bit more then they can in Vt since they have to be on a tie out there.
All in all it has been nice to visit but it will be nice to get back to my life there too, sounds odd I know, but I think I am adjusting.....
glad your travels were safe....be good to you in what you purge...sometimes we rid ourselves of too much!
