wow Jan what an adverture!    I hope really is great for you!   I dream of those kinds of adventures!   

WOW!!! Moving to Ecuador!!!  Hope you like it there!!! I am not sure I would like living outside the good old USA!!!! Been to Jamacia once and was never so glad to be back in the USA!!!!! Don't get me wrong...Jamaica was nice BUT....Give me the USA!!!!!!

Not posting much, been working and in alot of pain. Seems the hips and now the left thigh area in the front is hurting me. Especially when I climb stairs!!! The back also hurts at times. I can't get into see the pain dr til the 30 and I can't get any pain medication until he "knows" what is wrong with me. He is on vacation so that is why its taking so long for me to see him.

As for the foot dr, I go back to see him thursday morning to see what the exrays showed. Not sure what he will do then. I am hurting all over it seems!!!

Thinking of you all...prayers going out to those that need them...going to go lay down now.

 I can already see the trees, plants, flowers, and ponds that you are going to place in your new place.  I am so happy for you; I know how much you and Joe love spring and summer weather.  As you know, my husband is the same way, he loves warm and hot weather.  We are heading to Florida to visit his kids and for me to attend and present at a coference.  I am already dreading the heat.   If I ever get where I have a break from my work and am healthy enough to travel, I may just swing on over and check you guys out.  My luck, though, I'd get there and have a bleed and there I'd be.  I know you said the country feels safe and it is part of the united nations so human rights are a big deal, but if there is like some political thing or rebel something, can you leave the country really quickly?

Jeanie, good to hear from you ,your sort of like me not on much anymore....Ecuador is getting known for their state of the art hospitals and surgeons ...they are developing the medical tourisim deals like other countries have....if i ever get bored and not have enough to do . will check and see about working for them to meet patients and be with them to show them the ropcs lol
dont know about leaving the country fast...havent thought about that. most of the time when the people dont like something the government is trying to do or saying they will all get together and protest quitely by all sitting down in mass groups blocking the Pan American Highway which is a huge highway linking everywhere to everywhere. no rioting or anything they just sit there till the President comes and talks to them and they reach an aggrement. lol ....
