whooo hoooooooooooo
good to see you and i'm excited for your move! have to say that i kknow nothing of ecuador-when we looked at panama; aside from the culture was the govt and restrictions on what you could and couldn't do and i couldn't work there...
nothing new with me this morning......

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Good mornin' ya'll.
Wow, Jan, Ecuador! Is the cost of living less there? What about health care? Sounds like you are excited about your move. I hope it all goes smoothly.
Well, my computer crashed yesterday. My anti- virus program does a regular weekly backup on Sunday evening. So, of course it hadn't been done for a week! Also, my camera was full so I had just emptied all of those pictures onto my computer. I took it to the Geek Squad. They will back everything up, put in a new hard drive and reinstall my operating system from the CD I have. My DH had trouble running some of his programs on Vista and then on Windows 7, so I don't want to go to another operating system. Then I have to reinstall all of my programs: Print Shop, Microsoft Word and Excel, Family Tree Maker, and everything else. What a pain in the glutes! So I am limited to my iPad until repairs are made. Grrrr!
I have been on my new treadmill everyday since I got it. It is right there in my dining room staring at me everytime I go by!! My DIL has been over every day to do her run! I don't run, I walk!
Everyone have a fantabulous day!

Oh this sounds so House Hunters International and Exciting for you and yours. Enjoy the process and new journey. Very cleansing downsizing to almost nothing. Don't sell yourself short on things you really love. We were upset that our kids didn't want alot of our stuff and the antiques. Sold alot, but then we found a young women who had nothing, was pregnant and needy. We were thrilled and humbled that we could help her on her new road. The gratitude and excitment she exhibited walking around our home saying yes to objects was kinda like watching the old time show, Queen for a Day, she couldn't believe what she could have. Knowing my "good" china and glassware is being put to use makes me happy. Knowing my wonderful vacuum cleaner maybe helping her pick up her baby's "clean" mess in life does too.
Keep us posted. We would love to share in your process.

Happy first day of Spring. Sober 138 days and so proud of me.
Excited, tomorrow Carla, Candy, and I have our girls day out and meet. The Traveling Bra is ready to go and have fun and laughter.
Very warm here yesterday. Grateful for the AC. I could only take about 1.5 hrs at pool, spent most of that time in pool. Skin is a tingling and we have a super base and we are coffee bean berry brown.
Mass was wonderful. A mother of 7 children and 17 grandkids became a Catholic missionary working in India to build small schools for the poor in VERY rural villages spoke. She had amazing reports on how their efforts work, producing education opportunities for those who would never have it, especially girls.
Chix & dumplings were delicious. Yoda is feeling fine and he was so good at dog park, running, bouncing, sniffin butts and having dog fun.
Glad Debbie made it to Ohio with ease. Hope all have a wonderful Monday. Special prayers for the people of Japan, our military members helping there and to our naval service people working in the Med Sea.
Hugs, Monica

Good Morning,
So glad you found a nice farm in Ecuador.  I have never been to South America, but it is on my bucket list.

Today has me busy getting rid of a lot of stuff that I no longer need.  There is a halfway house for women near here, and many of them have nothing.  I have a ton of clothes and other items to take there.

After that, I have a venofur appointment at my hematologist's office.  Then I hope to meet a dear friends new baby.  He was born last week, and I am thrilled to be able to meet him today.

After that, it is home to finish tidying up around here before my toe surgery tomorrow.  I won't be up to doing much after tonmorrow, for a few days.

Have a super day.

Hugs,
Trish

Haven't been around for a few days -- had an unexpected trip on Friday to the ER with chest pains and then they kept me overnite.  Had tons of tests but everything checked out okay.  Having stress test tomorrow.  Gall bladder surgery scheduled for this Thursday is being re-scheduled hopefully for next week.

Otherwise I am fine and feel okay now.  Up at my usual time and have laundry started.  Doc wouldn't let me go back to work today, but I am going to Wal Mart, as miss kitty needs food and litter.

Have a marvelous Monday,
Pat R.
