It's 12:20 am Saturday morning! What's New?

Good Morning group!  Hope you all had a great Friday and will have a great weekend!
We made it to Rochester NY and beyond!  I believe with in 50 or so miles from Buffalo.  All in all about 430 miles today.  Long day! but got into hotel 8 at about 1115 tonight and am going to hit very soon!
I'll try to check in periodically but it may be a few days!

for some reason, i didn't change the wake up time on my alarm so i am up and trying to be active- saturday's we start an hour later at the bank so i could have slept in a bit-but no------ and miss roxiethewonderdog knew it was time to potty....a well..

today i am meeting with my mom for coffee after work-she "needs to talk to me" about something which means my baby brother is on the warpath again...

really nothing new just wanted to say hi and send hugs and prayers

Yesterday my grandson and his girlfriend took me to Wilmington to get my treadmill. We also stopped at her dorm to get a few things, stopped at her bank to make a deposit, stopped at Costco so I could cash my 'cash back' check, then to eat to Olive Garden. Got home and our son came home from work to help unload the treadmill. A 10 minute job, right? WRONG! They had to take the front door off, then take the treadmill apart to get it into the dining room! When I mentioned maybe we should put it in the big shed I got some very irritated stares! I used it last night and this morning and I really love it! Just have to keep using it!

Today I HAVE to go to Bath and Body Works to spend my get a free item if you buy one. I need Warm Vanilla Sugar shampoo. That is my favorite scent this year. My DH always says we can't afford to
save so much money. He is a lot like my Dad. I keep telling him I am spending MY Social Security check. I'm a lot like my Mom! I'm about up to the year 2060 I think!

While the guys wrangled my treadmill in, my DIL and I weeded my flower beds. They were looking awful!

I love reading about you and your family. I get jealous that your Gkids and their friends are always stopping by, helping out, and just plain loving you. Saturday mornings at your place always sound life fun, good food, good conversations, family and friends. Your "Specialness" with these young people makes me happy. Often as the Gkids get older their coming by Gparents home diminishes.
Enjoy the treadmill, you deserve it. Hubby always reminds me how funny I can be with the "savings" I find after spending $$$.

Good Saturday morning everyone!!!  We've ran our route and now we're sitting here with laptops & hot coffee.  Such is life.  We saw lots of deer this morning.  I'm beginning to think that they know what time we're out and come check us out.  They just stand there staring at us.  So beautiful.  This morning we witnessed a small herd of them standing in someones yard nibbling away.  DH said they were probably eating the garden...lol.  Oh well, they've got to eat too. 

Today is going to be a laundry/change bed linens day.  Fun fun!!  Other than that, besides sleeping which is something we do in the day now because we begin our route @ 2 a.m. so we're up for a bit then it's 'la la' land.  Our fur babies love cuddling with us.  I think it's them who gets the most sleep!!!

Anxious about my MRI next week!!  I've had one on my back before but never my head.  He's ordered one with and without contrast.  He also gave me Valium to take prior to the procedure.  Wouldn't get the test without something to calm me.  Anyway, I think it's a waste of time & Ins. money but DH thinks I should listen to the Dr. and have it done.  Glad when it's over.

Ok, enough whining!!  Sorry folks.  I pray you all have an awesome day!!  Debbie, plz. be safe on the road.  Grammylew, enjoy that treadmill but take it slow until you get used to using it.  Take that from experience.  Love to all of you other OFF friends.

Morning all. It was so hot here yesterday we put the AC on. Funny how sitting by the pool and swimming can be so draining. We are coffee bean berry brown.
Sober 136 days and proud of me.
Gdaughter turned 10 yesterday and her fabulous mom planned and carried off a complete surprise party. Emma had no idea that her mom was doing this and all 8 girls invited didn't let on either. Photos on FB showed the fun. Our daughter had mixed feeling @ Emma turning 10, going from single to double digits is a milestone.
Yoda has had a bad tummy for 2 days now. Hope today he is better. He can't talk with words, but he can talk to us with body language. He began walking around the RV back and forth, came and gave leg hugs, blinking soft eyes, and going to the door. When outside, he began eating grass, totally focused on grass.Within an hour he came to us again and out he went and proceded to purge. Amazing how instinct to fix himself comes from his DNA. God wrote the DNA for all of us....animals have extra powers that we don't have.

I am listening to cats making all sorts of "hunting" noises in the basement. Country living means mices, moles and other small critters sneak inside. They don't stand a chance of survival with 6 black cats, all ready to pounce.

It is dark and dreary outside. I'm debating - shall I go to the gym, do some housework, or go back to bed? Maybe all three.

Your cat squad is a powerful force. I was always intrigued by our one black cat and the control he had over all 6 dogs. Sebastian was a great hunter and loved to leave his conquests as offering on my side of the bed. I learned quickly to check the floor before stepping out.
Yoda thinks of himself as a great hunter. He hunts for squirrels and lizards with vigor and such determination. He doesn't understand he can't climb trees. I love the looks from him as he "trees" these prey and they defeat him. His body forms a perfect straight line of 26 lbs of dog as he silently and "invisibly" stalks them.

Oop**** the wrong key. . .

Been out of pocket the last couple of days, busy wrapping things up at work with the big hearing and folks going back to their offices, needless to say lots of things to get done and the hearing was extended and picks back up on April 11, oh joy. Anyway, I am writing this letter from the couch of my daughter, Marlene's house in Florida. Glad to be in warmer weather, looking forward to what this weekend holds, celebrating my Sami girl's 13th Birthday and being with my daughters. . .

Missed you all the past couple of days, good cleaning Debbie, congrats to Margo on her wonderful GPA and good wishes for peace and strength to anyone needing it.
