GOOD Morning!

I'm up before the birds. All packed, maps mapped, GPS charged, heading South to see some friends. Including Carla and Monica. Can't wait! Which is obvious, as it's 4 AM and I'm wide awake..... Flight leaves this afternoon. I'll be doing some driving while I'm in Florida, in order to see people in 4 different cities. Thus the GPS.

My cat sitter is on board. She's agreed to stay at the house, which always puts my mind at rest. She loves the cats as if they were her own, and says between the extra big shower and the cable/DVR she feels like she's on a vacation herself. The cats are the only thing I worry about when I travel, but she takes such good care of them.

This trip is my only excitement this winter. I've been pretty much stuck home the past 2 months after foot surgery. It'll be good to head where it's warm....80's are predicted! When I get home it'll be time to set up my seed starting area. I'm going to try to start some of my own plants from seeds I harvested from my plants last year. I've never done it before, so it should be interesting.

Wish I was tired enough to go back to bed for a few hours, but I think this may be it.

Everyone have a good day.

Candy

Oh, I almost forgot. Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!!!!

Top of the morning to you Candy and Offers.
I can sure feel your excitment about the trip in your post. Have a safe passage south. I am so glad we are gonna hug and finally meet face to face on Tuesday. Spoke with Carla and now just waiting. May this trip bring you fun, great times to store for future memories.
Not much going on here. Great day yesterday. Sober 134 days and proud of me. Hubby doing well and that makes the day better all over. RV repair man came, insurance issued check for awning accident/blow down, so we ordered the new awning and discussed other little issues for him to fix and look at. We are grateful to find this repair man, resort referred him to us. He is a Hungarian, in his 50's, married to a Italian women, and SO proud to be an American. When he comes by we have such interesting conversations. He is well informed and passionate about what is going on in his choosen country. He shows such repect to hubby, a decorated war veteran. He grew up in the circus in Hungry and saw much and lived much before coming here. He owns his business and takes pride in his work. I love his cell phone chime....beautiful Italian opera music.
Big St Patrick's day fun planned here. Party tonight by pool with music, Irish dancers, dancing, and friendship.
Hope all have a safe day and may the sun shine on all. Monica

Good morning, ya'll. Happy St. Patrick's day. My Momma always said we were from Northern Ireland, and their color was orange, so she always made us wear orange on St. Patty's Day.
Marcy, you said you lived near Binghamton. I was born and raised in Sidney. Just down the road.
My grandson is gonna take me to Wilmington to get my treadmill tomorrow afternoon. I'll fill his truck with gas and give him some money for his time. I know he probably won't want to take the money, but I'll make him!
I had my PT eval yesterday and she thinks I need 4 more weeks, 2 times a week. I still need to strengthen my glutes! And be able to put all my weight on that side without falling over, or being in pain. I see the surgeon this morning, we will see if he agrees. So I need to get my glutes in gear and get ready to head out!
Everyone have a fantabulous day!

Happy St. Patricks Day OFF family,

Well yesterday my ex BFF called me and told me my ex MIL died in the nursing home. My ex hubby doesn't want me at the funeral or visitation. I was very close to my ex MIL and was prepared for her passing as she was 94 and failing fast. It just hurts so much but I'm getting a grip and don't want to cause my ex hubby undue stress. So I will go and say my prayer and goodbye to my ex MIL tomorrow as my ex BFF said I have his permission. I do know my ex MIL is in heaven partying and all is well. I just can't control how my ex hubby thinks, I have extended the olive branch to him several times but he just can't have me around him. He is an only child, a loner and someone who can't reach out to others.
I have to put all of Laureen's reflections in my mind now, focus on me and what I could not change. I was closer to my ex MIL than my own mom just because of the age difference between mothers.

OH well and life goes on and I will lift my spirits up and give thanks to God for having this special relationship with my ex MIL. She knew I loved her.

Hugs and prayers to all. Debbie

Sorry to hear of your ex MIL's passing, but as you say she is in heaven now and that's a good thing for her.

I can relate to your situation -- know that I care and will say a prayer for you.

Hugs,

Hope you have a safe and wonderful trip, Candy.   I haven't seen Carla for a couple years....miss that gal.

Nothing much on my agenda today, have a load of laundry going and waiting for Dr. Kemmeter's surgery coordinator to call back with details.  Surgery is supposed to be a week from today and I haven't heard a thing.

Birds are singing mightily this morning -- such lovely music to wake up to.   We are to have sunshine until later this afternoon and then possibly some light rain.

My maternal grandpa was born on St. Patrick's day, and I always think of him on this day -- he's been gone since 1956 -- passed away much too young.

Hope everyone has a good day.  Prayers, hugs, and good thoughts to all here on OFF.

Pat R.
