Feeling much better

Don't be so afraid of stretching out your pouch...I mean we all had that feeling at one time or another. The further out you get the more you can eat. You just have to stay mindful of your eating always...for the rest of your life.
You have done good upping your calories...baby steps for you because you are recovering for gallbladder surgery. 800 calories will come to you shortly. Hugs Debbie
Mag,
It's hard to get those calories in. For me it too at least a couple of months before I was even close to what my surgeon wanted. I was afraid to eat like you and also everything including me smelled "musty" for want of a better word. I think it was ketosis from burning up the fat so fast.
It evened out eventually. Hang in there. Like the rest of us you'll get it figured out and you'll be absolutely amazed and delighted at the changes come your first year WLS anniversary.
You must almost be in Mexico! We made it as far as Benson. Would have loved to have gone to Tupac and Bisbee. Are you anywhere close to those towns? We'll have to save those for the next trip! Have a great rest of the week.
