Okay, if Monica gets to be whiny, so do the rest of us!

I've been whining about the scale not moving for the past several days.  Some of you have written back saying to be patient, drink your water, walk every day, etc.  All GREAT advice and I thank you all most sincerely for taking the time to reassure me.

SO--I just went and hid the DAM scale in the closet and I'm not going to pull it out again until April 1st.  That's right.  April Fools Day.  We'll see then, if the joke is on me or not!

Thank you, all my new friends, for listening.  Whiny time is over now!

This is a very good thing, a gift you are giving yourself. I know how hard this is....I've worn your panties...I remember the agony of the scale not moving, the doubts it fostered that this too would fail. BullSh**.

WE DID NOT GET MO OVERNIGHT AND WE WILL NOT GET SMALLER OVERNIGHT.

The Traveling Bra *****en at you cause I CARE!!

Good for YOU!!!! The scale is not your friend right now, so having it in the closet is a great place for it.

Hi Vickie, I am trying hard not to weigh more than once a week. I know it's difficult, but I'm proud of you for putting the scale away. I've only lost a couple a pounds lately but I've lost 5 more inches ! So watch how your clothes are fitting, too. Your friend,    Mag

LOL Vickie!!! You are funny!!! Did you measure yourself before you started your new journey? If not, do so NOW!!! The measuring tape will not lie to you...I promise!!! You will be losing inches if not the weight at this time!

Hang in there!! You will be losing fast enough!!! :-)

Hey Judy!  Yes, I measured!  I've got a spreadsheet all set up in my computer.  I measured again last weekend (about 2 1/2 weeks out) and I have lost inches everywhere!  That really helped boost my morale.

I'm thinking about weighing just once a month from here on out.  I don't know if I can do it or not.  I've always been such an obsessive person about the scale.  But I figure it's time to kick over all the old habits, right?  And it sure was a relief this morning to walk into the bathroom and that scale wasn't sitting there waiting to ambush me!  (Remember, I hid it in a closet yesterday! LOL!)

Thanks for the HUGS!  You're a sweetheart!

I used to weigh every day when I first started out...lol but I got so mad at that dam scale for not moving!!! So I made it a rule to only weigh ONCE a week!!! That helped SOME!!! LOL So IF you can do it once a month GOOD LUCK!!!! Maybe every 2 weeks is more like it...lol But glad that you are measuring!!! :-)
