OT: Toilet paper
I must confess that I am the keeper of the toilet paper replacement assignment of our home. I make sure that there are always rolls in the cabinet and place one out on the little shelf. When the roll gets low, I replace it, making sure it rolls forward. I take this job seriously and with pride.
One of my favorite memories (yes I am a sick person), happened while recovering in hospital after WLS. Housekeeping replaced TP and I took such pleasure that someone else did this.
Little joys in life help me feel grateful.
I just had to share these deep feelings with you all.

Monica, Your posts today light me up in many ways. First they are fun and humorous. But most of all they are another sign that "our" Monica is back and in full form! I've missed your humor and most of all your "stupid Monica tricks" because they always ring true to me. Thank you for being a part of our lives!

Well, being single, if I didn't change the TP, no one would. Cats sure wouldn't ... my gray tabby, Kittle, liked to unroll it and claw it, but sure wouldn't change it.
The only nice thing about the hospital (more so after knee replacement surgeries) was the food ... it was actually pretty good and they served me. Since I don't do a lot of cooking, it was nice to have decent food and be served. Or press a button and someone would come running with pain meds (and one was an awfully cute male nurse). Otherwise, they woke me up too early and too often, and the bed was uncomfortable.

Oh, Monica! Your post made me laugh. You see, I too, am the keeper of the toilet paper in our house. Whenever we go to Costco, I purchase a 36 roll package of toilet paper whether we need it or not. Fortunately, my hubby humors me in this endeavor.
We also like it when the toilet paper rolls forward. Ha!
