Friday.....new???
Morning OFF family...notice I didn't say "good"? with the Tsunami (sp) and this big snow storm we are getting here it sure isn't a good morning at all!!! So far we have about 10 inches on the ground here and another 3-5 coming yet today! It is a heavy snow fall and cars are stuck all over the complex and I am not sure if they will be out of the way when I have to leave for work at 1230 or not. Not sure I even want to try to leave. This place really ****** me off on how they "clean" the snow! They use yard equipment with snow cleaning attachments! And with this being a heavy wet snow...IT AIN'T WORKIN!!!!!!!
Had Bandit out for his potty walk and he can't go...snow is to deep I guess...so we had a nice walk in the snow anyhow...looks so pretty out there with the trees all covered in snow!
Nothing else to babble about so I will get out of here...worried sick about those we all know in the tsuanami areas....if anybody hears anything lets us know please!!
Prayers going out today for all!!!!

Hi Margo,
I woke up hearing about the earthquake too. I'm glad it's not the day for my San Francisco appointment. I'm fine inland... that was a huge quake. Luckily Japan is used to quakes and they have many safeguards in place to help people escape in dire situations. No doubt they will have high casualties no matter what with a quake like that. My niece lives in Japan and I was on the phone first thing this morning to check on her. She is fine. It was scary for her, but all was well. I heard that Hawaii is OK too. I don't think the wave has come to the West Coast yet... it might be nothing, but I wouldn't want to be too close to the shore.
I'm at work... FRIDAY! My intern is preparing lessons for next week- I will have time to test some children and write reports, etc. We are going to a special ed classroom for stations in a few minutes. Today I've planned the lessons around St. Patrick's Day and rainbows. At the end I'll give the children little See's gold pieces... yummy chocolate. These children are the gold at the end of MY rainbow!
It's a beautiful, sunny day here... but the rain is supposed to be back this next week. We aren't quite into constant good weather yet, but it is very close. In my neck of the woods Spring is short. We hop right into Summer very quickly.
Happy Day to You!
Julia
I heard about the quake and tsunami at work last night ... there was a bulletin on the AP wire shortly after midnight.
Man, I was miserable yesterday ... headache, achy back, neck, knees, etc., itchy all over. I had to take a benadryl when I got to work I was so itchy. It helped, but then I was sleepy. The afternoon started out well ... went to the mailbox on the way to work and there was a free drink card from Starbucks, so along with their free treat, I got a free Trenta iced coffee. Also, there was an invitation to George's b-day party in Texas ... how cute, it was a baseball ticket! Can't wait to finally meet George and see other Dallas friends, meet my new grandnephew at last and see my nephew and niece-in-law (haven't seen them since 2005).
Well, I've babbled on enough. Need to get in the shower and get some lunch. I wanted to get up earlier and go to the chiro but decided to sleep instead (chiro closes at noon on Fridays).
Have a good day.
1:00PM here and I just now got on the computer. I have been watching the news all morning. Such destruction and loss of lives.....so sad. Been plenty worried about Maui Karen and all our sisters in that area and also on the West Coast.
Going to help do a little cleaning with Jamie this afternoon. Grace and I do the dusting together and the easier tasks. We all have fun!! Nic is out working on his car and truck. He only drives his VW Bug when it is nice out. His truck is for winters and nasty weather.....he loves puttering on them.
Wishing you all a great day. Supposed to reach near 60 today....wooohoooo...I will going outside for a walk later!
Prayers for MANY in need.
Love and hugs to all......connie d
