SNOW falling on Monday in NEK! Whats new?

We are getting tons of snow here, about 20 inches so far, and it's not over yet! blowing, sleet and snow.  whew!  Daphne got burried in snow as she tried to get off the top step, Angus didn't even get much further past that this morning!   I am going to go up and get cleaned up. my driveway is still drifted and hasn't been plowed.  I believe I will be working from home today!
So what's new with you?

Burr to you, I doubt our son, Angus, will be riding his bike to work in Burlington, VT today. The northeast has really gotten hit this winter. But remember Spring is a coming. Be safe and cozy.

Debbie....I hear ya.. Southern Tier of NY here...16 inches of snow and blowing and drifting. Two counties are in a state of emergency. All schools , even colleges are closed. OH MY !!!!! I'm tired of snow and would love to see some very warm sunshine.
Monica...nice to see you this early.
Guess not much going on here today except for shoveling and hoping we can get out by tomorrow.
Stay warm all....

Debbie, I just saw pics on facebook from my DIL in St. Johnsbury - the fence around their front yard is almost buried!

Love the NEK by the way!

Good morning Debbie and everyone yet to come.
What's new? Certainly not SNOW! Thank God. Actually I am sitting here watching the sun creeping up over the trees. I love when the sun starts coming up earlier.
I finished the genealogy book for my cousin. I still need to post some pictures from Mom's side and from my DH's side. But I put it all away til my head clears!
The pillow is about done. I thought I had a bigger pillow form in my crafty closet, but no. So off to Han**** Fabric after PT this morning. That doesn't have to be mailed til next week.
I will continue on with the pirate costume this afternoon.
My daughter scored tickets to the CMAs. She is a Taco Bell franchisee and Dr. Pepper hooked her up. She and our granddaughter have tickets to all the before and after parties, a private concert with Lady A and 3 other artists, and of course the show. They'll be going on the private jet. On the same weekend, her DH and son will be going to Randy Coutures MMA camp, I guess in Vegas, too. Such a tough life she leads!
Everyone have a fantabulous day!!

WOW.....20 inches?  Dang, I'd be working from home, too!

Here's my good news.............. My dear Gary finished his first 1/2 marathon yesterday in under 3 hours, his personal best time. I'm so proud of him! He's wearing his medal to work today, which is traditional. Something I know nothing about....lol

Our landscaper is supposed to start his work in the back yard today, sure hope so because I'm sick of looking at the dead-ness out there.

Okay, I'm off. Better have clothes on for when our guy comes.

Hugs to Karen and Monica's hubby on their special days!

Congratulations to Gary. That is a HUGE accomplishment.

I'll trade yards with you. All we have is two acres of snow.

Kisses

Honey, you can have your snow and your acreage.  I used to think I wanted both, but not any more. It's all I can do to keep up with it now, and we only have about 1/3 acre, maybe a bit less.

Thanks for the good wishes for Gary. There are a couple of pics on my facebook page.

Hugs to you and Tom

Congrats to Gary on finishing the half-marathon. A couple of friends of mine ran that race, too. I commented on their Facebook photos I couldn't even walk a half-mile, so that's an accomplishment in my book.

Wow, that is terrific about Gary!  Hope all is well with you and your landscaper gets busy. . .
