It's a new day in the neighborhood everyone!  Saturday!  So what's NEW with  you?
I'm up for a potty break for me and the dogs.  I fear poor Daphne has a UTI, she's had more accidents in the house and yesterday I noted blood in one and a foul odor in another.  Going to vet today!
Busy at work trying to plan etc with the new system coming in, hard to do when we still do not know all the pieces and parts to it yet, but that's coming slowly along.
We still have massive piles of snow here in the North East Kingdome of Vt!  In fact we are supposed to get wintry mix today and tomorrow I guess.  There is a mountain behind my house from the church in back of me, they plow their parking lot and it just keeps piling up.  It's HUGE!  Other than eating too much and enjoying life here nothing more new!
have a great day!

Hi Debbie  -  I'm up for a potty break for the dogs, too!  way too early for me, so I'm going back to bed for a few hours.  All of our snow here melt and we are left with mud and soggy, dirty yards.  It's funny what one will find after the snow melts away!   I can see that I'll be doing the "poop patrol' for quite a while today.
Not much planned for today except lunch with a friend and marking and planning for the week.  One more week of teaching and then March Break!.  The students will be gone, but I'll still be at work.  That's okay because I will have some peace and quiet and be able to get my desk at work cleaned off.
I think that I just heard Ranger jump up on the deck - why walk up the stairs when you can jump? - so I will let him in.  The smaller of my two German shepherds  is already in and sitting by me whining for her breakfast.
Have a great day.
Margaret
I'm still confused about what happened for people to deactivate.  I always miss the good stuff!

Good Morning Off
Its too early to be up on a Saturday morning!   Been awake since 4 when Angel Mary  woke me to tell me she had had it staying up with Little Bugs with the night terrors.  God bless our Mary  for letting me get a decent nights sleep.
Nothing exciting here today  We are still waiting for DH to see the orthopedic guy for his arm and shoulder.  No good news about the shop fire,  Just waiting to see what goes on.
Sloppy wet rainy freezy ucky weather  here  have ice advisory out for today.   Our snow is going fast  probably gone by today  so where is spring????
I am grumpy today  so now is a good time to wish you all a good weekend and Ill go find my crocheting or something.

Good mornin' ya'll.
Debbie, you'll be the only place in the "lower 48" that has snow in your back yard in June. I remember as a kid in NY, those piles took forever to melt. Especially if they were in a shaded area!
Well, today is the day. I will have my genealogy book ready to mail to my cousin. His Dad died last year and the family book was lost. This has forced me to update files! This is my Dad's side of the family. I still have some updates to do on my Mom's side, and on my DH's side. But I'm not under pressure for that.
I will also have the memory pillow done for another cousin's long lost daughter! AND I have the 12 blocks crochetted for the corners of the green afghan for my granddaughter. Now I just have to finish the inside and sew on the squares. Hooray!! Then, I can get back to sewing my Halloween costumes!
I think of all of you struggling with family, health, weight and/or employment challenges. I wish I could fold each of you into a giant hug and somehow solve all of your troubles. Barring that, I will keep you all in my prayers!
Everyone have a fantabulous day!

Hope we get a photo of the pillow. I read each day about the baby blanket and was thrilled to see it, oh that edging was so beautiful.
Glad you are coming along well.

Morning all. Last night was the first night since I began taking Tylenol PM, last November, that I did not get a really good nights sleep. Usually with this product, I fall asleep and stay asleep. Yoda kept moving around from the bottom of the bed to inb/w, to uptop..so I am blaming his not sleeping well with my problem. Now I could begin OCDing that this will happen each night but I choose not too.....major step for me.
Had lots of fun at the dog park, some new dogs there and nice owners. Social life at the dog park is great for dogs and humans too.
So delightful that hubby has his pain meds. What a difference in the quality of "OUR" lives this makes. Yes his hips and back still hurt him, but his ablity to enjoy the simple movements in life can happen. His mental being is beautiful too.
Hoping you all have a good wkend, safe travels, fun, love, and good vibes. Special hugs for Bev, Janet, & Connie

Good morning to my new OFF friends!!  It's a cloudy Sat. morning with 50 degree tempts. so no complaints from this girl.  I'll gladly take rain it if means warmer weather.  My DH & I have been up since 2 a.m. grabbing a bite to eat, dress & out the door to run our newspaper route.  This is week 2 of running the route and so far, we love it.  We're both retired and was getting restless so this gives us something to keep our minds occupied and let me tell you, our minds get a good work out!!!  Trying to remember road names and house numbers....LOL.  We have such fun though, being silly & tired in the early mornings.  We both are so bundled up against the cold that we can hardly walk.  Anyway, I've got some laundry going and warm coffee in my tummy, DH & I are on our laptops with our fur babies in our laps....what a life!!!  Today is clean house, laundry day and DH is making his famous pot of spaghetti.  We do the whole wheat pasta and 1/2 turkey, 1/2 hamburger along with Italian sausage....yum!!  Can't wait.

I hope everyone is doing well.  I hold you all in my thoughts & prayers!!  Have a blessed day!!!!

Good morning Debbie, thanks for getting us started.

Thunderstorms rumbled through during the night, Gary got up @ 3:00, but fortunately I was able to pretty much sleep through it. Guess after almost 6 years here I'm finally getting used to them.

Short day at work, then I think I'll wander through some garden centers and look for some more ideas for our back yard. Still need to find that "perfect" gas grill. One that's stainless (Gary insists), not too big and not too pricey. Hahahahahah!  Is that the impossible combo?

Okay, off to shower and get ready for the day. Hope you all have a dandy one!

Good Morning Debbie, Grammy, Monica, Cindy & Those I may have missed and those yet to come.  .

Hope Daphne will be feeling better in short order, learned something new as I did not know dogs get UTIs,but then again they get lots of the same ills we do, good to know for the future.  My Roxie interrupted my post here, as she went out back and brought me her ball to play with her for a bit, well I guess spring is here because that is the first time she has wanted to play ball in a number of months and I'm sitting here on my couch in the sunroom with the laptop and the sliding glass doors open, the sun shining and it feels real nice, wish I could stay home and take my girl to the dog park, but I have my Barix support group leaders breakfast and group and then I'm off to New York to my brothers for my nephews birthday, it will be a long social day, just the kind I love, except for the 300 miles I need to drive today. . .  oh well, small price.

Well that's my story, sticking with it and wishing each and everyone one of you a wonderful day and the peace and strength to get through the more challenging aspects of living.

Hugs, Laureen
