MY MOM

Is in the hospital tonight! My brother took her into the ER this afternoon and they transported her to the hospital. She is on oxygen, hooked up to a heart monitor and has a nitro patch on. Her blood pressure is sky high and is going to have a stress test tomorrow. I did talk to her tonight and she sounds ok. She is mad at being at the hospital but is getting over it. I want to go to Michigan but I am to upset to drive that far in the dark tonight and Rick has been drinking beer so I will not let him drive at all. See what tomorrow brings. I want to go see my mom...just incase!!

Just wanted to let you all know what is happening. 

Prayers for you & your Mom Judy. She is where she can be carefully monitored. You take it easy and put on a calm front - okay?

Here's hoping your mum has a speedy recovery Judy and I believe you are making a wise decision to wait until tomorrow to go see her.  Better safe than sorry.  Being able to be there with your mum, no matter how bad things may be, is better than being

Judy, you and your Mom are in my prayers. I know how frightening it can be to live so far away when your parent is ill. Talk to the nurse on her floor to get the real info.
Everyone must insist their parents have documentation in their charts that say the children can have access to their medical information. And if you have adult children you should do the same!
