Hi Everyone,

Alive and well. Having a great time, but on the go and out of touch! I just added a few photos to "Karen's Photos" on my profile.

Headed back to Phoenix today to take in a Mariner's game before we head home tomorrow.  Snow and below freezing here in Sedona but absolutely beautiful. Will probably be in the mid 70s at the game at 1pm today.

The sunshine has done wonders for us both. Mike has been amazing. His feet still hurt from his neuropathy but even when I've said  "You don't have to do this hike to these petroglyphs or up to these ruins." he has gone and done as well as me. Losing almost 80 lbs in the last year is allowing him to do so much more than last year. Hope he keeps up the exercise when we get home.

By about 3pm each day he's ready for tv and relaxing and then I'm off to the shops! Not much in Sedona that I'm willing to spend the money on but it's fun looking at all of the native artists' jewelry and artwork. Need to try to get a bit more sleep so that I don't miss anything today! Hope you all are making the most of each and every day that we have been blessed with.

Loved the red rocks with the snow. I love canyons and mountains. Back when I lived in Montana, my friend Roxane and I went to Four Corners country ... canyons and mountains. Did Mesa Verde and Canyonlands and Zion national parks and Hovenweep National Monument. Rox did all the big hikes; She actually walked into the big ruins at Mesa Verde ... I photographed from afar. I was a lot bigger then. I would drop her off at trailheads and she'd take these halfday hikes, and I do car touring and one-mile or half-mile hikes, then we'd meet up and compare our days. Don't know if I could do that now. When I vacation with my brother, he complains I walk too slow. I tell him, you have two surgeries on your knee that fail and see how fast you walk.

Sounds like you had fun and Mike was a trooper. I want to live in Arizona ... would be good for my arthritis.
