RE MOM
Well I talked to or sould I say I tried to talk to the nurses this morning about mom and I was told they can't give me ANY info other than she is doing well. She wasn't in her room so they couldn't give her the PIN so she could then give it to me so I could call them back so they could tell me about her info! GRRRRRRR Dam HIPPA!!!!!! I told them they NEVER gave my brother the info yesterday on the PIN so I could have it! I am even on her list incase of EMERGENCY!!! Nurse said "sorry" grrrrrrrrr so now I have to wait til mom gets back from I think her stress test. Nurse couldn't tell me if that is what she was doing either. Sighs...I told her I had a 5 hour drive ahead of me and needed to know how bad this is and she still would not tell me anything!!!! GRRRRRRRRRR this really is ******g me off!!! I called Bill back and told him and he told me not to bother coming home. Hello.....I want to see my mother!!!!!!!!!! So I am not sure if we should hit the road now or wait til we hear from him in an hour or so. I want to leave now. Rick says wait and see. Then he says its up to me...I am lost here!!!
Thankyou to those that posted earlier for all your thoughts and prayers!!! Means so much to me!!! Will keep you updated soon as I can!!!

Hugs Judy, this is a stressful time for you and your family. I think HIPPA is more hinder than help and I work in a hospital. They totally tie our hands when it comes to releasing information...even when you know it's family and they aren't on the list til it get corrected. Very frustrating.
Have a safe trip and hope your brother calls you soon! Hugs Debbie
I just read your posts, and hope by nowyou have made it to Michigan. I will be praying for you and your family.

Hope today finds you knowing more about what is ailing your mom and that it is nothing serious.
