It's so nice to wake up to daylight again....and the birds are singing....no wait, maybe that is just their teeth chattering!
Off to work this morning and some chores around the house this afternoon so a fairly easy day.

Good morning all!!! Where did the nice warm spring weather go??!!! It was in the 70's one day and back in the 30's the next......brrrrrr!!! My family & I had an awesome vacation to South Georgia last week. We spent time with children and grandchildren. Visited siblings and friends. What a wonderful fulfilled week. Then it was back to the grindstone. Actually, retired life as it was got boring so DH & I signed up for a Virginia Pilot newspaper route before we left on our vacation to help supplement income as well as give us something to do. We started our route, first day, on the night that we returned and it liked to have "whipped" our butts!!! LOL. We came home and crashed for 8 hours straight!!! As of today, we've been on our route for one week and we're getting in a routine that's both workable & enjoyable. My hubs is a hoot and keeps me laughing so working with him is a joy. Other than our new job, everything else is moving right along. On a negative note, I gained 6 lbs. during our vacation!!!! Bad girl bad girl. Now I'm working on getting it off. Picked up some old bad habits like snacking while traveling. Don't realize how many calories you can consume. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing wonderful and staying warm on this humpday.

Good Morning OFF
Im awake now! After a night of sleeping! What an amazing thing is sleep when you dont sleep for a couple of nights then get to sleep for a whole 6 hrs!!!!! Little one slept last night!! Night terrors are not fun for the bitty ones. Shrink session for Bugs today then I am driving a friend for a cancer treatment so BUgs wants to go get another bigbig cake! SHe likes pancakes.
Hubby is finally feeling his arm is getting better I sure hope so! I Love the man immensely but not when hes off sick!!!

Volunteers are having a purse sale for fund-raising here at the hospital I work at. Bought a straw purse for 10.00 and a lime green purse for 20.00 such a deal!!!
Going to Earl's funeral today at 10am, my day is going to fly by really fast. Earl was one of my favorite volunteers. He wil be missed.

Morning all. Been up but I OCD too much to start the thread.
Traveling Bra on and just back from Yoda walk. He has been with us a month now. Such a wonderful addition to our family. I probably posted this already but he is too cute each morning. He gets up after us, comes out stretches and then checks to make sure his 4 toys are where he put them. New thing is he goes and gets his halter and carries it around the living area and puts it by our chairs.
Yesterday hubby did a first. He has wanted to wash the big F550 truck for weeks. But he has been hurting so he couldn't, that fact added to his anger and depression. I told him the power washer man was 2 doors down. He got up to find out how much he would charge to power wash the truck...$20 and husband booked him to. The man did a wonderful detail job, the truck is gleaming, and hubby's back and hips are OK. He has such a hard time asking for any help. I am proud of him for being sensible. The car/truck washing machine here would have cost as much and taken forever.
Lots to do today for us. Sober 119 days and proud of me.

Hey Monica....That's my Mom's name too, MONICA! Just wanted to say CONGRATS on staying sober for 119 days! That IS wonderful! It's got to make you feel awesome too..and in control!
Wow..only $20.00 for a power wash AND detailing? Man, I wish he lived next to us..we would keep him busy every day! We have so many vehicles because JB and I each have a big car, and Derek has his Caddy, his PU truck, his Tahoe and all his work trucks and machinery too..yup, a full time job for the power wash man here! *lol*
Good morning all! Slept a little later than usual this morning. So sorry to hear the news about Judy's mom. Praying that all will be well there.
I'm down another pound this morning. :) That's a real incentive, huh? I'm busy experimenting with my pureed diet this week. Thank goodness that hubby can cook for and feed himself. I'm free to just think about me and my needs right now. I give him little tastes of whatever I puree up for myself, and he always says, "You can eat it!" Ha!
Pretty day here, but I have to spend it paying bills. Quicken and my checkbook are calling me this morning . . .
