Sunday, what's going on in your life?

Good mornin' ya'll.
I spent the week working on updating my genealogy data base. I start on one thing and wind up pulling another thread that sends me somewhere else. I need to stay more focused.
Then a cousin e-mailed and asked if I would make a pillow for her daughter's anniversary. I use white material, put lace around it, I print the wedding picture on special cloth and put it in the middle surrounded by embroidered names and the date. On this one I will either add a little pocket or leave the top of the picture open, and slip in a piece of that cloth with the wedding vows printed on it. They wrote them themselves. I also add a few iron on appliques that are wedding appropriate. So that will give me a break.
I am working on an afghan in the evening while my DH and I watch TV.
Our weather has been great. Well, a little rain. But Spring is nearly here and I love it! I am so sorry to see the bad weather in some parts of the country. Stay safe and warm, please!
Have a fantabulous day!

Oh I so enjoy hearing about your knitting industry of love. Those *****ceive your gifts are indeed fortunate.
Yesterday was a true gift in my life. My hubby felt better, was happy, attentive, playful, energized from his diminished but ever present pain. The dog celebration was really delightful. Yoda was very good and very tired after we got home. He is thrilled with all his treats. He carries around a bone he got, not eating it but caring for it.
I took scissors and cut my hair and it looks great. I have short, curly hair and just grab a small clump of hair, twist it, and cut. When I think of the $$$ spent in the past for hair cuts I marvel. So glad I have much silver in my hair.
Last night we went to the resorts variety show. Excellent talent and program. Such fun to see our neighbors here performing.
Getting ready for church. It will be in the 80's today with lots of sun. The spring trees are filled with blossoms and the azaleas are in bloom. Pollen is high and covers much.
Prayers and hugs to those here. Sober 116 days and proud of me.
Wish I had a digital camera to take photo's. Wish I hadn't given my 2 away, but the kids needed them so I did. Maybe can afford one soon.
Happy Sunday.....Monica

Good Morning Grammy Lew and OFF!
Hope you are all having a great Sunday!  My day yesterday was all mixed up.  I woke up in the middle of the night Saturday morning with bad reflux and was up for a few hours.  Hate it when that happens!  then dozed some of the day and vegged in the morning, finally got my butt in gear and got dressed, went shopping to the yarn store (like I needed MORE yarn), then went to the grocery store.  then came home and did some reading, later got some beads out after doing some ironing and stitched up the door curtain. Now just need the curtain rod for the door!
No big plans for today, watching my favs on HGTV for the moment, then going to make myself some breakfast I think. Knitting on plans and making some earings round out my day I believe.  If weather holds may take an exploration drive around the area and see what I can see!  I found a house I would LOVE to look at but with my credit hx doubt anyone would loan me anything.  Darn it all.  Oh well in a year or so this will pass I guess.
Hope everyone had a great day!

Good morning Carolyn and my OFFer friends,

I already have laundry going or I can't get dressed. I only bought three pairs of Spanx for after my TT, and have just one binder. So, here I am.

We're ging to a garden shoe this morning in Little Rock. Mamfriend went yesterday and found some dearer Adirondack furniture for a very good price. It's what we've been looking for for our new patio, but didn't want to pay a fortune for it. They have a five piece set for $350, all hand made by a local family. Can't wait! Of course we have more thunderstorms coming in later today, so it will be a couple of days before we can enjoy it.
Our garden man comes tomorrow to look at the pictures I've been gathering up for him to use as examples of how I'd LIKE the yard to look, we'll see if he thinks I'm crazy or not.

Ok, time to switch over the laundry and take a shower. The show opens at 10:00, so we'd like to be there when the doors open and avoid the big crowds.

Have a great day, everyone!

Susan

Oh, Susan, your Adirondack furniture deal sounds great!  We've been looking for some for the front deck at the lake house.  It's so expensive!  You'll have to let us know how you like it.  Vickie

OMG...the sun is out. However, its still cold here. We've had lots of snow..about 13 inches since Friday. I've spent my weekend shoveling. Two 1/2 years ago that would have killed me. At 350 pounds..the thing I like least was heavy labor. This weekend I have actually found it enjoyable!!!
School this week and My daughter's baby shower is Sat. I'm going to be a Grandma again around April..its a BOY!!! Almost unheard of in my family, we all tend to have girls.
Everyone have a wonderful Sunday and a great week. I know I don't post often, but I read everyday.!!!
Susan glad you are doing better. Grammy, keep sewing , sounds like it helps you feel good!
Monica, I could not be prouder..you should be very proud of yourself 116 days!!! WOW..
Connie where ever you are...we miss you!!!!
Debbie..a drive sounds great..if you have snow like us it might be a little "difficult"?!!!

Love, hugs, prayers to all

GOod Morning Off friends.   Quiet day on tap here in Owosso.  No  kids  grumpy  hubby I am ignoring.
We went up home yesterday to see stepdad  and made him happy with some homemade bread!  Heis much happier   living with my brother so is doing so much better.  Still bowling at 95.  Just  lonesome without mom  so we need to get there more.  I think grumpy hubby is catching  cold so Im filling him up with orange juice and homemade chicken soup  and otherwise leaving him alone  Hes happier that way as long as he has plenty of that chicken soup.   I am gonna ignor the laundry and crochet and read today.  Inbetween poking antibotics and vitamens into a cranky sick black cat!

Prayers for all friends here and I hope you all have a restful day
