A big, blustery snow storm is way better than a tornado. Better to see the car buried in snow than the car buried in a house. Shudder.

Mary called from Philly last night. Their flight was cancelled so they rented a car to drive home. Dave is a good driver but I worry about the others on the road. Matthew was asleep but Melanie was gabbing in the back seat. I can't wait to hear of their adventure at Disney. It has been a long week without my M&M's.

Tom is grumbling about the MRI report. Every time the doctors check for one thing, they find something else wrong with him. He can't believe his hip appears 'normal' when it aches so much. It will be a struggle to make him accept surgery for the hernia until it is an emergency. God, give me strength!

Morning Lil' bit, We have snow , the honey man is outside shoveling the walks off. The T V Dish was covered , no reception till he cleared it off, the clouds are sitting right at ground level this morning, we are having a white out, so quiet. Okay , the world is all good, the T V is on.

I'm off to breakfast and scrapping. I won money at Bunco last night so breakfast is on Bunco. We had lots of fun... I laughed so hard. That is food for the soul for sure! Tonight I need to mop- had three dogs in and out of the mud yesterday and my beautiful floor sure does have the "look". Laura is "trying out" a second lab- this one is smaller than Sookie and Chocolate. She is a love but has never been indoors or trained or been socialized to people OR dogs. She's doing well except that she is not potty trained. YET. Her new name is Penny... she never learned her old name because no one ever interacted with her.  She is quite the love though... I have a hunch that she will work out.
On my way- oh- no snow here... false alarm.

Good morning all. Not much going on today. I have been getting on the treadmill a little every day. Doing some sewing, & just trying tokeep busy. It keeps me from thinking about the cost of the dentist. He called me yesterday & I told him we just couldn't afford $ 15,000. He said he would talk to the oral surgeon & they would try to come uo with a plan we could afford. I couldn't believe he called me.The oral surgeon said the dentist called him on vacation to discuss me. I really like this dentist. I wish I had known him when I had insurance.
Oh well tie will tell.

Good morning all!

This is a day of contrasts for me.  First of all, I got on the scale this morning and I'm down 16 pounds since I started the pre-op diet on Feb 8th!  Holy cow!  It's working!

But, I also got my monthly TOM headache last night.  Oy vey!  I get this d*** headache every freakin' month!  When does it end?  Can't take advil anymore.  I had a rough night and it promises to be a long painful day.  The liquid pain medication the doctor gave me to come home with hasn't touched this headache.  Guess I'll just have to tough it out.

Always good to hear from everyone.  I really look forward to this thread every morning.

Oh, geez, how do I make my ticker move down the scale?  I changed it on my profile, but it didn't show up on my post!

Well, heck!  Now I have two tickers showing up!  I'm usually not this techno-challenged!  I'll tackle this problem again tomorrow.  At least my ticker is moving DOWN the scale!!!
