I'm here at work, nothing too exciting going on, this is a good thing, give me time to work on some projects that need tending too. . . this evening I will meet my good friend Owen and we shall hang out for a bit, then go to an AA meeting, that's my plans and I will be sticking with them.

We just had a fire drill and it was not bad at all outside. I'm surprised that it is so pleasant since we have a cold front dropping down from Alaska this afternoon or evening. They are predicting possible snow for San Francisco with this front. It would be a dusting at best but hasn't happened there since the 1940s.
I have a busy weekend planned- Bunco on Friday night, breakfast with friends and scrapbooking on Saturday and a visit with another friend on Sunday.
Nothing else here... back to work!

Looks (and feels) like rain here today. Already 76 degrees. My oldie coworker (who sits next to me) was grousing about pain issues last night ... he was popping Aleeves last night and saying he thought he was coming down with the flu. But then he didn't get a flu shot (he's 58). I told him it was going to rain, because my body had been feeling it for a couple of days.
Comcast called and got me out of bed this morning ... he wanted me to check the back of my box to make sure the cables were in the right slots. Well, I think they are. What do I know? Anyway, at least I know they're coming today, like they were supposed to on Tuesday.
Work again tonight ... sports guy drove me crazy last night as I explained I had to cut two paragraphs and he didn't understand (he doesn't like his copy cut, and we have to ask about cutting local copy, especially his ... he's a young guy and doesn't understand things very well). Took a good 15-20 minutes to get it through his thick skull as I tried to explain it via instant messenger. Finally the light bulb went on and he said, OK, cut the last two paragraphs. Aaarggh! Then the other page I had to do, the editor left and didn't give us the story that was promised. Love when people don't do what they're supposed to do.

Grammylew your investigative work is amazing. Isn't it fun what geneology uncovers. We are supposed to be related to George Bush by a common ancestor, George Stillman. (?) My granddaughter asked me to stop looking because so far I haven't come up with anyone she's liked!
I'm UA for getting my labs done. Between the weather and just feeling punk I've put it off for way over a month. Am I going to jail?

Good Afternoon Karen and OFF family....well here I am late in the day once again...been working so that is why I am late posting here. Last two days were my days off and I offered to work since Gloria is in the hospital with her broken hip and we are short handed. Next week I get a FEW extra hours...yippee! So much for offering myself for more hours huh? But I only have one night that I have to close so that isn't to bad.
We have a winter storm WARNING for tonight into tomorrow afternoon. Just great!!! We could see up to a foot of snow maybe more depending on who you listen to. Will Spring ever get here????????????
Back is killing me big time!!! Going to take a pain pill...not that it will help anymore...darvocet really used to help alot but not this ultram...that is good for nothing in my opinion! Anyhow going to go relax just wanted to check in.
