OT: What's the most DANGEROUS thing . . .

Hmmm,  lets see.  I ran away from home with two brothers in search of our mother at age 10.  After finding mother at age 16 and realizing that I had made a big mistake, I ran away from her home and lived on the streets for about 6 months.  At 17, I hitchhiked across the country and back with a friend.  As an adult, I worked for Exxon at one of their refineries as a process technician and soon realized that half the people working there didn't know s&#t about their jobs and that I was in danger all the time I was there.  That's all I can think of right now.

At 15 I went with my girlfriend with her boyfriend driving his car.  He drove with his feet out the window and way too fast down "roller coaster hill" aka Northrup Rd.  I kept thinking if I die my mother is going to kill me. LOL.  That was before all cars had seat belts.
Scary for me was going to comm. college after work in Bridgeport.  Not known for being a safe place at night.  It also had been 40 years since I graduated high school.
Facing cancer and a lot of operations in 2001.
In my younger days I traveled with hardly any money and no back-up plan.
Camping in Yosemite with bears in the next meadow. Yikes.
Hubby wants to do the hot air balloon ride.  I'm not interested.  I told him I'll take him and pick him up as long as the life insurance is paid up. LOL.

Hi Everyone, This was fun! Several people that I met today on my way to Arizona think that I just HAVE to do the CANTILEVERED SKY WALK over the Grand Canyon. Just heard about it a few months ago. Can not even imagine looking down through that clear ledge (no idea what it is made of) Have you heard of it????? I'm like Mike and the hot air balloon, "HELL NO!"

Karen,

Do you need me to Fed-Ex Annette's box to you?  She's out of it.
