Nausea

When does the nausea go away?  My surgery was 2/3/11 and have been having nausea every day.  It is all I  can do to get in my protein.  I finally took a Zofran just a little while ago.  I am down 18 lbs since my surgery.  I have actually lost around 70lbs since April of this year when I  made the decision to pursue this surgery.  Any suggestions would be gladly appreciated.  I am supposed to go back to work next week.  I am so glad I took an extra week off!

Please get this checked out, especially if it should worsen or not go away.

I'm not a good responder for this, because so far I've not felt an onslaught of nausea. I DO however feel a little queasy at times, and I constantly do feel much different about food physically, than I did before. Some things go down harder than others. I can no longer consume some of my favorites with any ease. I could rate those reactions as a kind of nausea if I thought about it. It doe**** me sometimes with a feeling of grief and a little fear. In my case I think its all about getting used to the changes. I want them. There are sometimes when I do have my head in the sink, but I have honestly eaten too fast or went beyond the queasies to get something down.

A little sip of comforting tea might help some...

Congrats on your weight loss!

Hmmm. Is it all the time (you know, like morning sickness nausea) or just after eating or drinking a protein drink?

At any rate, I think you should call your doctor's office just to be on the safe side.
