Vickie,

Good  luck tomorrow with your WLS.  I can tell you that WLS has been life changing for me. I never dreamt that I would be able to lose over 100 lbs and have kept it off for almost a year.  The support that I have gotten from OH PA forum was instrumental for me and also my Barix support group.  I am looking forward to connecting with some of my contemporaries here at OFF.  There are no coincidences in my life and God put a person in my life 2 1/2 years ago when I was ready to listen to this message.  Everyone's journey is personal but the important thing is that we are there for each other to scold, praise, and laugh together.  You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you take your next step.  Take good care and see you on the loser's bench.

Morning OFF family!!!

Well its another snow covered day here...GRRRR after all the snow melted away I thought for sure spring was going to be here to stay...LOL Calling for another 1-3 inches of the white stuff today. :-( Looks pretty but still...YUCK!!!!

Worked all weekend that is why I didn't post anything. Hip hurt like crazy but I managed to get through it all. Found out there will be a coupon for the "CAFE'" starting this thursday with buy something get something free...just flipping great!!! I am busy enough on the weekend and now a coupon to boost sales!!! I blasted one of the managers about having to work the weekends alone and he wanted to know who did the scheduling. I told him and also said I betterhave some help because I am sick and tired of running around back here like a chicken with my head cut off and going home so tired and *****y!!! He said he would do what he could. Yeah right. Wlould love to see one of those managers work just one busy hour back there and see how it is!!!! HAHAHAHA Hell I can't even get my breaks like I am supposed to!!!

Other than that nothing else to talk about...need to shower and see what else I can get into...work today 1-5. Short day!!! YES!!!!!!! Love those days!!! LOL

NASCAR race yesterday was good...didn't care for the two car drafting at all!!! Wish they could just race like the olden days!!!! Sighs......

Welcome to the new people!!! Hang on its a wild ride!!! And to those that have already had their WLS...Congrats!!!!!!!

HUGS

Good morning Debbie and everyone......

Tomorrow my internet/cable service will be getting shut off. If you don't hear from me you will know why. The big move is Wednesday.....we may stay over night and head down to Iowa on Thursday morning as we will all be so tired. Who knows when my internet at my daughters will be set up. I can use thier computer if I need to.

I am getting nervous, anxious and excited. Won't be long now. Guess I better check out the Iowa OH board too. I will always stay on OFF.....love it here!! Lots of friends on the MN board so I will keep in touch there as well.

Love you all.....keeping you in my prayers.....hugs...connie d

Hi Debbie and my OFF family:

Another day, another 50 cents. It's 78 degrees here but kinda cloudy. I didn't sleep all that well last night ... nasty reflux. So I'm tired and I will schlep myself into work tonight.

Not much going on here. Work was work, nothing exciting last night, back at it tonight.

Monica, proud of you. Connie, hang in there and rest up for the move. Moving is tough and tiring work (I should know, I've done it enough).

My northern friends, drive safely. Have a good day.

Monday --

Tomorrow, I have to go back to work. I took a month off for recovery from surgery, as my surgeon suggested, and I'm glad I took the full month. I feel pretty good, but still am sooo tired. I'm a bit anxious about returning, mostly because of layoffs; (couldn't lay me off while on disability !) so....between that and having to get back to the work routine, I'm busy today getting all the last minute things done. Grocery store, laundry, helping my teen with her school schedule, and trying to organize things so this will be easier this week. I'm glad it's a short week, will give me a bit of a respite to only have 4 days to work instead of 5.

I'm enjoying having more food choices now at 4 weeks out, and starting to feel like my life doesn't have to revolve around sipping and figuring out what time I can sip, and what time to eat....it's all a learning curve...
