Jo, Happy 30th Anniversary! (most men don't do sick well! LOL my ex is one of them, my hubby he does excellent when he's sick, doesn't complain, just goes back to bed)
Don't you just love Michigan? My kitty went outside, we got about 10 inches of snow then ice on top of that. She came right back in after about 10 minutes!

Not much going on here. Hubby still angry and so stressed with the pain and aggravation the VA created. I am hanging in there.
Sober 110 days and so proud of me.
Yesterday with Yoda was really fun. He loves to cuddle, play, and just be a dog. Every morning he gets up after us and then makes sure all his toys or treasures are still around the living room. He checks each item.He also loves to "help" me cook.
I made Monica cutlets yesterday....get thin good quality samwhich steaks and prepare them like veal cutlets. I add spices and fennel seed to bread crumbs and use a good quality oliver oil to fry them. Delicious.

I am snuggled in bed, trying to get the energy to get up and walk my snuggly doggy. I have phone calls to make and housework to do, and a trip to Joann's for come containers. Big whoop. Nothing exciting. Oh, and I must make my AA meeting.

Up and at 'em this morning! My mother is coming to puppy-sit for us while we're gone to Houston the next 3 days, so I'm making a last run through the house. Got my stuff all packed. Just down to helping Hubby pack HIS stuff! (Honestly, it's not that hard!) We'll be leaving here around noon for Houston.
Yesterday I took all my measurements and started a WLS Progress Chart! And I'm going to take one last picture this morning for my BEFORE picture. Just like everyone else, I'm sure, but these have been much-anticipated steps for me for the last 6 months.
Thank you all for your friendship and support the last several days. If you pray, then prayers would e much appreciated for tomorrow's surgery. I'm looking forward to coming home on Thursday as a member of the loser's bench!
