I get where you're coming from ... this is why I'm so cranky, but it's hard to tell people to cut me some slack when I have a meltdown ... the anger comes from the pain. It also comes from impatience at people who should know better but are lazy and don't do their jobs.

Welcome to all the newbies I have not yet greeted. Good morning to the rest of our OFF family.

It is a gusty, blustery day here in upstate New York. Winds are expected to reach 65 mph. A good day to stay home.

Tom goes for another MRI on Tuesday. Then we w-a-i-t until the doctor gives the results. Patience is not one of my virtues. Worrying is what I do best.

I met our new Bariatric surgeon yesterday.  He is very good looking. Yum. He may be young, I may be old, but oh YEAH, I still appreciate a bit of eye candy.

Oh yeah, I understand ... I appreciate looking at nice guys ... why do you think I like sports (well, one of the reasons) ... most of those guys are pretty good looking.

Tee hee!  Too funny, Annette!  I imagine we'll all be looking at eye candy until we die, but hey--life is supposed to be fun, right?  Stay warm today.  We're in the mid-70's here.  I've got all the windows open, to give the house a good airing out!

Good morning to all my off friends,
This is day6 of my opti-fast and so far I have done great. the only other thing I have is 2 coffee and 2 tea both with milk. Otherwise it has been a breeze. So many good ideas from everyone.  My surgery is Feb. 28 th. in Montreal.  My DH and I will be staying at the convent next to the hospital. They have accomadation for patients and care givers, and that includes meals. free parking.  Private rooms. It looks great and one of the of people put me on to it. $75.  for both all inclusive. I am happy I won't have to worry about DH getting his meals.  8 more days to go.    Doris QC.

I am so ready,  thanks dor warming my spot. won't be long now.  Yes the accomadations are great. It makes things just a little easier.  We will stay Sun. Mon. and Tues.  Then drive to Ottawa pick up dog  Pablo and then home. I am getting really anxious. Move over here I come.
