Good Morning! It's Friday!
Good Friday Morning OFF!
Well, I went to bed about 9pm last night and here I am up at 4:30 am have had a bath already and made my cuppa chai. Have a while before I need to get ready for work,so you are stuck with me for a few minutes!
Things are still going well here in NE Vermont. It got a low warmer on Wed afternoon and today we may hit into the 50's but then brrrrrr right back down to the single digits for the weekend! A lot of snow has melted, but we have a huge base so right now it just looks dirty, so we may need some more to freshen it up a bit! LOL I guess sugaring season usually begins in March when days are warmer but nights cooler. Should be interesting to see!

Just a quick drive by to say that the belligerent and mean spirited person who lived in my home is gone and so peace is finally to be had, so sad, but some people just never grow up and learn how to play nice with others.
Anyway, it's Friday, I have a long weekend to look forward to and hoping to get home early enough this evening to take Roxie girl to the dog park to play before the cold comes back for another month or so. . .
Get away from the computer and get out to enjoy these moderate temps as it is still February folks (lol).
Wishing you all peace and strength to get through the challenges you are facing.

I'm so glad your house is yours again. I can only imagine how difficult it's been for you recently. You never let on before these past few months how tough it was; you were always so positive about the living situation. It must have gotten pretty bad for you to have to make her leave.
Spring is just around the corner....Time for a fresh start, to think about beginnings instead of endings.
Glad the problem is resolved.

It was good for a long time, but a lot of that was me focusing on what was good and allowing her to be who she was, thinking that over time, if she would do the work on herself (according to what we do in AA), that what was not great would change some. She was a lesson in patience and tolerance and I do not mean to say I am perfect, but just that I have a little more experience in doing what recovery has taught me. Anyway, it went bad right after I came home from Florida at Thanksgiving and got progressively worse over the past two months. I am sad for the friendship that was and is no more, but I am happy to have my home back and yes, I will look forward and just take that which I learned from this experience.

Sugaring! Oh, the days we spent makin' out in the 'sugar shack', while we tended the fire. Hot as sin in there, but we didn't really commit any.
PT again this morning. She has me doing 5 min. on the recumbant bike and 5 min on the treadmill ( very slow), among all the hard stuff. So yesterday I tried 5 min on my elliptical. I'm not sure that was a real good idea.
Supposed to be 78 today. Now that I am able to take a walk, with my cane, I am loving the nicer weather.

A woman went to work and when she saw a male co-worker she excitedly said TGIF...he looked at her and replied ****she then said again with more enthusiasm..TGIF!! He said ****she then said..hey do you not know TGIF means Thank God its FRIDAY !!! He smiled and replied ****sorry honey its THURSDAY!!!!
I laughed all the way to work...
WOke up this morning and I thought it was Saturday..aw welll...it was a nice thought...getting ready and on my way to school.
Should be a nice sunny day, the calm before another storm.

I had to laugh. Since I've retired I often mix up whether it's Thursday or Friday, not sure why. Since I've been home so more much lately, now I often forget if it's a weekend or weekday. I keep trying to make business calls on the weekend and can't understand why no one answers the phone.
I've gotta start getting out more...

Need lots of prayers today please. Hubby having VA medication problems and he is furious. He does scare me with his anger. He suffers severe and prolonged PTSD and many physical issues and pain. I am sober and not looking for any drinking. Holding me together, just sick of being afraid of his anger. Thanks for being there for me always.
