While it is human to care about what people think and say, the truth is, if we are right with ourselves, it matters not at all. I am happy that you found love and happiness, I remember all too well the heartache you felt when you were married to your now deceased ex. As we age, experience changes our views some and we realize that happiness, is self made and while best not had at the expense of another, we must do what we can to create an environment to have it. Try hard not to set such store in what others do and say, be you and enjoy your happiness, if you can learn to live that way, you will be happier and freer for having done so. . .
