Waiting here along with you on the results of your ct scan!! Why they make you wait so long is beyond me!!! But then no news IS good news they say!!!

Well, thanks, Judy!  I appreciate the welcome and the nice thoughts.  Just FYI, I did call AGAIN and this time I asked to speak to the MA, not just her voice mail again, but they told me she's with a patient.  I understand they're busy.  But geez.  I'm giving her until noon, and them I'm going to email my surgeon directly.  I don't want to get anyone "in trouble", but aren't I a patient, too?

Looks like you are on the right track Vickie! Keep on them til you get an answer!!! Keep me posted...prayers for nothing wrong!!

That happened to me once Vickie- I remember being so scared. It turned out to be nothing at all, but OHHHH the anxiety of that process. Big hug to you!

Thank you, Julia!  I am so anxious, you wouldn't believe.  I have lost several family members to lung cancer.  That's why I don't smoke!  To think that I might get it is an unbelievable stresser.

Anyway, I just emailed my surgeon directly.  I was polite, but I told him I can't get his staff to respond to my request for the CT scan results.  Maybe he will instruct them to call me, or call me himself!

I'll post something as soon as I hear back.

Oh, hurray!  Praise the Lord!  My spot is nothing but scar tissue!  I am SO relieved.  And it won't interfere with my surgery date at all.  I just have to have a follow up CT scan at my 6 month post-op check up.  Thank you for waiting with me today!

Im Carla, Hope you enjoy it here in our little corner of the world. I am 9 years out and I surely am enjoying life down here in the warm country of florida. I moved here 3 and 3/4 years ago from colorado. I had to leave the northland couldnt stand the cold winters anymore. 
I am so glad your ct scan was ok. I know the waiting is tough.....

Thank you, Carla!  I'm a southern girl, too, from Texas.  We've had more frigid cold air this winter than I can ever remember before--and I don't like it!  I'm a sunshine girl!  I may biatch a bit when it's 104 in the shade, but heck, I can always find ways to cool off!  Swimming pool, lake, river, water hose . . . !

Happy to be here on OFF.  This is a wonderful caring place!
