Good Morning Everyone,

Just thought I'd start us up today, because I wanted to read all about your lives today. . .

Inadvertently copied the reflection in here originally. Today I will clean house and do things to prepare for the week. This evening I have a commitment to bring a meeting into a halfway house for women in recovery, something I do from time to time to try and bring the message of hope and the fact that life does get better if we make peace with the past, change our behaviors and make better choices in the here and now.

I am a little sad today, but once I get into motion I should be ok, life on life's terms is never easy, but it can be lived well with courage and by moving even when we want to lie down. . .

Monica I am proud of your 102 days and you are a courageous person. I hope the weather will be warm enough here today to get Roxie girl out and enjoying herself.

Hugs, Laureen

Morning all. Failure is falling down and not getting up. I choose to get up, sober 102 days. Proud of me.
Getting ready for church. Cool here, but lots of sun.Yoda is wonderful. We all had a great time at the dog park yesterday, lots of dogs in various sizes and mixes. A male whippet was there and the "racing" around was speedy and so much fun to watch. Yoda's little legs flying and his ears flapping.
Prayers and good wishes to all.
Hugs, Monica

Congratulations Monica
And I love the image of  Yoda's little legs flying and his ears flapping  -  makes me smile to think of this, and I've needed to smile.
He's a lucky boy to have found you!

Congrats on taking care of you.  So proud of your accomplishment.  I hope your counting of days turns to counting of years.  Day by day.
Keep up the good work.

First, congrats on the 102 days.  Keep it up.  Be strong.

Second, it is so much fun to watch my dog run in my back yard.  I have 1/4 acre and we have two dogs, one of which is a retired greyhound race dog.  It is just poetry in motion to watch him.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Laureen, your post really encouraged me.   I am feeling depressed lately and not wanting to even leave the house - but I make myself go.  Been to church this morning and everyone was warm and kind to me, so that helps a lot.  Later I am going to my son's church for their service at 11 a.m. (he leads the Praise & Worship Band) then they are having their annual chili cookoff afterwards.   This evening is our book club meeting and I WILL GO!.

I know being out with people always makes me feel better, so I just have to do it.

Have a great Sunday,
Pat r.
