The drain in my elbow is infected.

One of my clients is a nurse practiitioner, and she looked at it when she came to the salon today. Of course it was after 12:00 and the doctors office was closed. I left a message for the nurse to call me, and in the mean time, my client was sending a message to my doctor's wife on Facebook.
Within 45 minutes he had called and I was on the way to his office. He took out the drain, probed and poked at it, flushed it all out and gave me antibiotic ointment and oral meds.

Well, at least I have the drain out......lol. Gotta laugh, what else can I do?

Ouch!   I'm  glad you got it all fixed up  so you don't have major problems with it.
It does seem when we have a lot going on  is when we get whacked with something similar to that doesn't it?

Susan,
I got my JP drain out today from my surgery 2/3.  My skin is getting pretty sore just from the tape.  BTW,  I was down six pounds from surgery!  Glad your drain is out too.

Those drains are a big pain, but necessary.

Congrats on the 6 lbs. You just wait.....the best is yet to come

Thanks my friend.

Yeah, strength comes from experience, right?  Gary's less than happy. We both have visions of what I went through with my Achilles infection three years ago. I reminded the doctor of that and he immediately understood my panic. Fortunately it doesn't involve bone, muscle or tendons like with the ankle, so he assures me it will be ok.

Hmmmm. Pardon my mild skepticism

If you took this guy's bicep and put it on my elbow, you'd come close.

Hope you're feeling better these days!
