SS Neversink sailing along on Tuesday
Good morning one and all. Hope your boat is still afloat and sailing smoothly. Mine is doing better, it might not every be perfect, but at least it hasn't sunk! Not yet, at least...lol. That's the whole thing, isn't it? Finding that balance to stay upright and not sinking.
Yesterday was much better. In fact, I kind of went the other direction just because I didn't find the time to eat much.
latte
cottage cheese/ pear
zone bar
sandwich thin w/ deli roast beef and 2% cheese
chili verde, unfried refried beans
applesauce w/ lf granola

Susan
Hi Susan, yep all of us are rowing and you know what even if we ending up sinking, we will rise to the top once again for today is a new day!
Yesterday:
2 T. cheesey potoato's and 2 sausage links
for lunch: pasta with lots of tomato's and some cheese, one small bite of breadstick because it came with the lunch. Score!
Dinner: 3 oz. of pork, half potato and cottage cheese
Watching TV and needed much ate 8 scoops you know those Tostio's things...sigh...
Today so far:
Woke up not hungry at 5am...hubby made oatmeal, I knew my pouch wasn't ready for anything.
I'm at work, drank 32 oz of water all ready and did some of my vitamins and now I'm drinking
EAS carb control Protein shake on lots of ice (17 gms. of protein). It's almost 9am and I'm not hungry, not shaky or dizzy for a change...I feel great!!
So on my desk for when I get the munchies or hungry, I will reach for my orange, banana or apple. Lunch I plan to have Cuban black bean soup or stuffed chicken breast....what ever looks better.
Don't know what hubby has planned to make for dinner but I'm off to the gym after work, so what ever he makes I'll eat. Plan is to stay away from the left over chips from the super bowl!

Good morning to all.
First - let me ask - was is OFF? (Once fat and fifty??)
Today is an exciting day. My daughter is hoping to hear her baby's heartbeat for the first time. I can't wait to hear all about it. Of course I'd like to be with her, but she has a wonderful husband who's very involved so I'll wait. I hate waiting! ;-)
We have a 9 year old beagle who has a seizure disorder. She's a sweet dog with one major problem. She's forgotten that she was ever house trained. We block off most of the house but if she can ever touch the carpet she's likely to pee. This wasn't an issue until we had our carpet cleaned before the holidays with the dry flakes. It's supposed to repel dogs but had the opposite effect on Millie. I'm beginning to think she needs to live with someone who's home during the day, but with her age and the seizure disorder that would be next to impossible.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day.
Take care,
Cindy
