Honey, I'm so sorry I didn't chime in and tell you how sorry I am for the loss of your fur baby. I know what those cats mean to you, and they're all so lucky to have you for thier mom.
Please don't do over do it today. Wish you could just stay home! Sorry Tom has it now. Hope he can take care of himself as much as possible.

Hi all. Just got back from a looooong walk and stop at the dog park. Yoda had a blast, all little dogs at the park except for 2 grayhounds. They all ran around at full speeds, the little ones challenging the one grayhound. Too funny. We took a walk around one of the big lakes, saw an alligator, and my legs feel ok. Yoda is pooped.
Our RV awning fell down. It got ripped during a storm and it is so windy here today the rest of it ripped off. Call into repair man. I hate problems and so I and the traveling bra are OCDing like crazy. Hubby not too upset.
Prayers needed please. Enjoyed the Super bowl and the ads.

Good morning off sistas;
Well things are moving right along. I called today and booked us a double room at the Hostice behind the hospital run by the Sisters of Providence. Looks really nice. It is $75. a night for the 2 of us private room. Meals are included and parking as well. Well you can't beat that. It is for people and their caregivers or escorts to stay while you have surgery at hospital. We are booked for 3 nights.
I begin my opti-fast Feb. 14 th. and surgery is the 28 th. I can't wait to join you all. It is getting close now. My how time flys. Doris QC.

I'm in boring land again. My traveling friend had to have surgery again and didn't want to be alone in the hotel after that so here I am till she feels like Theresa again to marrow then I am off home with her where my little charges can play nurse to her!! They will love it. I'm not real sure Theresa will but she ask to come over knowing I had 4 little charges.
No superbowl for us. I was flipping the channels for something interesting to watch and saw it was over so had to get on the net to find out who won. We have nothing against sports in our house, just absolutely no interest in them.
Prayers going up from our house to yours.

Wow...you people just get up tooooo early for this gal LOL You're probably already on Tuesday but I'll stick with Monday...although, on second thought, your way gets to the weekend faster! 
We had temp-record breaking hi's this weekend and it was beautiful. All the State museums here in town were open for free so Saturday hubby and I met up with my son and his girlfriend and made it over to the State automobile Museum and then down to Old Towne Sacramento and went thru the California Military Museum. Would have gone to the zoo also but everybody and their uncles had the same idea. I'd still be looking for a parking space, let alone how to get out of the line of traffic to make a turn LOL On Sunday hubby and I got the motor scooters out and took a ride up to Old Town Folsom, an old mining town turned very modern (has fabulous Factory Outlets stores). Was rather disappointed by Old Town..hadn't realized the downturned economy had wiped out so many little shops and boutiques :-( We did find a couple of nice chocolate candy stores (hubby LOVES dark chocolate) and I also found some great tasting SF caramels. And while I could go hog wild on the caramels real easy...I learned my lesson way back when that the sugar subsititute Sobitrol and Molitrol (sp)wheck havec on my system..2 or 3 satisfy the urge and I don't suffer 'back-up', if you get my drift. Got home just as the sun was setting and the 'heat' was turning to cold...much longer out on the bikes and I would have been an ice cycle. LOL
today is work and hard to take...the sun is bright and again we have near temp record breaking hi's. Suppose to change back to 'normal' weather tomorrow..but sure is nice while it lasts.
Well, that's my life so far in a nut shell...hope everyone is having the start to a great week. Hope you feel better Eileen...and Annette, hope you are finding some comfort in the fur babies you still have...they can't replace the one lost, but they try.

Nancy, we don't all get up early; some of us are just up late. I work late, for instance. I work til midnight and sometimes don't get home til nearly 1 a.m. Others don't sleep well so they get up in the middle of the night and look for something to do.
I still feel like I'm coming down with a cold ... have a sore throat. Now I have a numbed up jaw, too, from the dentist.
