I'm so sorry, Annette, that Isabella died. Our furbabies give us so much comfort and unconditional love - it's difficult to lose them.
I'm really hoping that much, much better days are ahead for you in the near future.

So sorry about Isabella. I know how tough that is for you. Rest assured there was probably nothing you could have done for her, even if you did get her to the vet. Annette, my heart goes out to you. Isabella is with your other kitty and my dear sweet Scooter at the Bridge.

I'm just sitting here in the spare room taking a break from cleaning house. I can hear the vacuum in the background- my husband doing his part. My new shelter dog Roxy is by my side, asleep. After we clean and finish some laundry we are all going to the dog park. I'm not sure what else we will do- it's a spontaneous weekend. We were invited to spend the weekend in the million dollar house on Lake Tahoe that my sister-in-law's boss owns. It is the best place to go that you can imagine- just beautiful, total luxury, heated marble floors in the huge bathrooms, etc., etc., but we had plans and I can't in good conscience leave the Roxy dog alone for several days when she is so new to us. Hmmm.... our floors aren't heated. When I bought the stone for our bathrooms and kitchen/family room I checked into the heating systems for under the floor. The people I spoke with quoted a crazy price and I was astounded- the guy said if you are worried about cost for this detail you can't afford it. He was so right- I can't afford it.
I hope I don't bore you with my ramblings- I do go on... Time to get back to work. If I had more money I would hire a housekeeper and gardener! Maybe someday! Happy Saturday!
