First, bookmark us under "favorites" so you don't lose us again! You are still at the beginning of this journey. It took me two weeks to really get rid of all of the surgery water weight from IVs etc.
Now that you are eating if anything it will speed up. . . You need to make sure that you are getting enough calories. If you starve yourself your body will try to compensate and will actually keep you from losing as fast. Many other factors determine your rate of weight loss.
Each of us is so different. Try not to compare yourself to anyone else's journey. That is a very hard thing to do but it will help you. Also another hard thing is to try not to weigh every day. This was really hard for me because I started at 377 so my first few months the weekly loss was dramatic. Sometimes I weighed every day! Then I tried to limit myself to about twice a week which worked well for me.
Right now it will take real awareness on your part to get in your vitamins, plenty of fluids and the required amount of protein. Be patient; it does take a while to get the hang of it but it is so worth it!! Ok, did you bookmark us yet??

It is definitely hard to get everything in at first. I set timers to remind myself when to drink, when I had waited long enough so that I could eat, then when I could drink yet again.Seems like that is all I did 24/7 for a few weeks! It does get better.
You are probably getting all you can in right now. Most of my calories came from protein shakes at first. I was probably about 6 weeks out before I got into a good routine where I was getting about 1000 calories a day in. I think that is probably a good amount to shoot for. What does your doctor say?
I worked my way up to tuna with a bit of mayo, also canned chicken. I couldn't handle even home baked chicken for a while. I ate a lot of cottage cheese, peanut butter, salad shrimp, egg salad, egg and tuna or chicken mixed. Eggs were hard for me to get used to.
I kept an insulated cup full of water with ice chips in it to "chew" on. Hard on my teeth but I missed the sensation of chewing.
My worst mistake? At about 3 weeks post op I took my doctor's instructions a bit far. He said I could have a couple of crackers in my creamed soup. . . So what did I do? I put peanut butter or 3 Wheatsworth crackers and ate them. Oh my gosh! I thought I would die. I thought I had really messed things up. Couldn't get more than a few drops of water down for about 3 hours.
So my message. Take it slow and easy. I figured I had enough fat stored in me that I wouldn't die for at least 6 months as long as I got my liquids in. Sounds like you are doing great for where you are right now. Just keep following your doctor's advice. Don't be afraid to call and ask questions either. Do you have a local support group to go to? This forum is a great spot to land any time day or night. There are usually a few of us insomniacs popping in and out throughout the night. Best wishes!
