late posting today as I've been busy at work...extra heavy load of credit cards to be processed from a seminar we held last week.
Not much new in my world..other than I had a neat view driving into work this morning...moon going down in the west...full moon w/clouds scattered over it...in my rear view mirror..the sun a huge orange fire red ball rising in the east. It was surreal LOL
Patting myself on the back..got my rear back on the TM last nite for the first time in 2 months...been lazy is all I can say. Nice 'wow' moment, tho....pre-wls I could barely do 15mins at 1.5mph....now 45min at 3.5mph...working my way up to at least 6miles at 3.5mph...Big Plan is to 'do' the Bay to Breakers run/walk (Oakland to San Francisco over the Bay Bridge) May 15th with my bay area support group. THAT would be such a feather in my cap....already did 1 5k here in Sacramento at Thanksgiving....goals keep me honest LOL
Hope Grammylew's appt went well today...Susan..so happy you made it thru your first week..Connie (and 1 other I can't remember the name!) so sorry to hear weather and stress causing flareups...have a friend who also suffers from Fibro...hope it eases up soon!

Good late afternoone everyone!!! Today has been a busy day with errands, taking sister to eye dr. appt. and getting things prepared before my daughters surgery in the morning. Rachael is having both eyes worked on. She has Downs Syndrome and was born with lazy eye muscles in both eyes. Tomorrow her new Dr. is correcting this problem which is going to eliminate her double vision. That's a great thing, although I dread the surgery. The sad part about all of this is she has no clue what's going on. But she'll be a good camper and smile her way through it. She's a wonderful young lady!!
The weather here in the Outer Banks has been beautfiul these past two days. Lots of sunshine and in the 50's. Very nice, in fact, so nice that I bought Rachael some spring clothes today...lol. I bought her a pair of white capri's with dazzle studs on back pockets and about 5 short sleeved cute as a button shirts. The only winter thing I bought her was a hoodie, hot pink that has a cat on the front and it says "Sassy" which fits her to a T!!
Going to have a salad and left over pot roast over it tonight for dinner. Cooked a big dinner last night so tonight will be leftovers. We have to leave out pretty early in the morning for her surgery. So after tonights Grey's Atanomy, it's bedtime for me & hubby.
I almost forgot to say, the warm weather/sunshine did wonders for my Fibro. I, too, have flareups and when it does, it almost puts me down. Looking forward to Spring!!

Hi Eveyone Greetings from Canada.
We are having cold weather but the snow is not too bad. We didn't get a big dump which is unusual. WE usually get lots. Not bad for Canadian weather. We are still at my sons place in Ottawa Ontario and have been for 2 weeks. We are going home Friday. My surgery is in Feb. so ai am biding my time. I can't wait to join you all on the bench.
I have severe Ostio-arit. I know how that feels and the damp weather is a killer. I need some sun. Hugs to everyone Doris QC.
