Glad to hear you are doing ok.  Each day you will feel a little better.  Just rest and relax and enjoy the down time.  You'll be back at it full swing before you know it.

Good morning Margo and everyone....

Grammylew...I am sending up prayers that your surgery goes well. You will be missed here on OFF!!

Margo....glad to hear you will have a few days off. I think you need it. Any news on Michael yet?

As for me....doing okay. My daughter Jamie and the grands were supposed to be here last night. The roads were so bad that they made it as far as my daughter's in Bloomington (Minneapolis) and stayed the night there. Both highways coming in to St Cloud from their direction had bad accidents. One had a horrible rollover and the other just awful...people lost their lives.
I am glad they stayed put and didn't try to get through that mess or worse yet get in an accident themselves.
They will be here this morning sometime.

As for me....still making moving arrangements....so much to do and not a lot of time to get it done.

Wishing you all a great day. Prayers as always for many here on OFF.

Love and hugs for all.....connie d

Morning Margo, Grammylew, Janet and those to come. . .

Time management is tough these days, so much pulling at us and it seems, for me, that I get distracted and move too fast and then forget what it was I need to do next (lol), is this "old age"?  Hope your car situation gets resolved.

Grammylew, wishing you the best outcome with the things you've got ahead of you, it's great that you have a supportive and loving DIL!

Janet, you've got million dollar personality and that's all that matters. . .  love you Dallas Sistah!

Well when I get off of this computer I will put on my gym clothes and get to the gym, after that I will going to an AA meeting, home to clean up, change and meet up with a friend so we can drive about an hour and some to view a friend of ours who got married in Las Vegas in December and is having a video party for those unable to witness the webcast of their wedding, so that should be fun, then it will be home to bed.  Tomorrow Tony is coming down, we will hang out and watch the Jets in the playoffs, hoping for a win.  Off Monday and have plans to meet a friend at the gym and do things around the house, hoping to see my grandbabies sometime this weekend too, as I have yet to see them in this new year. . .

Anyway, that is my day/weekend, wishing the best possible day to each and everyone of you and special thoughts for peace and strength to those facing health and other challenges.

Hugs, Laureen

I am going to get out of bed and not sleep the day away. Later I am going to a basketball game. One of the few sports I understand. The daughter of a support group member plays and I want to cheer her on.

On Tuesday, Tom goes back to the VA and discuss his BP and hopefully hear the results of his hip xray.

Hi all, just washed the traveling bra, it is hung up over the kitchen sink dripping itself out.
Big Homecoming parade here today. Strange the resort is not as packed as in the past. Many people are amazed at how empty it is. Still haven't had to "fight" for a lounge chair at the pool.
Hubby and I have colds, mine is not too bad, his drippy and coughing. One daughter called this AM, she and her family arriving on Thursday at DW. She wants us to come visit. Still trying to work that out. Furance guy did not show up, but it is warmer here so we are good.
I am OCDing a bit this morning. But not too bad. Many thoughts and prayers to you all. Connie and Sue and Annette. Also to Margo, hope you get your car back soon, good luck on school, so proud of you. Sober 73 days and proud of me.
Hugs to all, Monica

I have a recent bra story, mine are Victoria's Secret Wonder Bras, so you know that they are REALLY Padded...anyway...when to the arthritis doc and he told me I could keep my bra and panties on...so he start pushing and poking and was doing so around my chest "area" (I have chronic chest pain) and after a few "no that doesn't hurt" he said "um could you please take off your bra...I can't really feel anything because um uh..." OMG! I was soooooo embarrassed. I realized that the BRA was the "boob" he was pushing on and testing to see if it hurt.
He said "you must have lost a lot of weight with your RNY"

Anyway, today is sit on my butt day. All Day!!!!

Susan, glad you're home safe and sound.

Annette, I was thinking the SAME thing!!! hee hee

Too funny, thanks for sharing. My traveling bra is also from VS and super padded. In fact the padding is still wet after all these hours. Not a natural bra so super push up and all so it does take an un-naturally long time to dry. Hubby still LOVES what it does for me. Went from a 48 F, never padded bra to a 40 B with so much padding.
