Margo, I imagine it will take awhile to get the time under control. But, I know you can do it! You are one brave, determined lady!
Yesterday, was visit with my orthopedic doc's PA about my hip surgery. Saw the x-ray of my hip. Looks like someone had been nibbling on it. The right hip looks really good, though. Then I went to pick up the contrast and get blood work done for my Tuesday CT scan. They were confused about my appt and need for bloodwork. So I had to sit and wait for an hour. I finally went back up to the window and they miraculously found the info. I do need bloodwork, but no order for it! So I got my contrast and came home to call Dr. Z's office to have them fax an order for bloodwork so I could get it done 1st thing Monday. But when I got home I had a phone call from the hosp, they had called while I was sitting in their waiting room to tell me about the blood work! Monday afternoon I have to be at the hosp in NB for my preop tests for the hip surgery. I will be in hosp for 2 or 3 days. They wanted to know if I wanted to go home afterwards, or a rehab place!?! Of course I want to go home! Why would I need a rehab center? Anyway, I am ready for whatever I need to do. My DIL put in to have off on the 21st and 24th so she can take me to my colonoscopy and my hip surgery! I have got the best DIL in the world. I am truely blessed!

It's nice to have a day off isn't it? But today... I start at $4, then think instead of going to my regular nail place, I may try WalMart. But it's usually so crowded. Just thought I could kill two birds with one stone. Son's significant other is taking me to The Adolphus Hotel today for High Tea. I bought an $80 dress for $20 so I'm going to wear that. At least I'll LOOK like I'm in an $80. Most of the women that go to these things have one shoe that cost that much... oh, well.. attitude is everything.
Tomorrow, is a little up in the air for what I'm doing.. several things I NEED to do.. but will I?
Grammylew, best to you on that surgery. GETTERDONE (Texas speak) and get back here as quick as you can!!
Hmmmm, was re-reading before I hit submit... KILL two birds with one stone? When the bow breaks, the cradle will fall? Cat gotcher tongue? WHO CAME UP WITH THESE THINGS?

Margo, once you get into the swing of things I'm sure your time management issues will all work out. and not having a car doesn't make things many easier, I'm sure
I'm coming along after my surgery on Wednesday. Still looking for the truck that ran me over, although don't know what I'd do if I found him. My arms are wrapped from shoulder to wrist so I can't really talk on the phone, but I probably wouldn't make much sense even if tried.
Gary has been more than amazing! Cleaning drains, helping with showering and any thing that needs doing around the house. I'm really lucky.
