I'm home

Got my LifeStyle Lift on Saturday.  Was supposed to get 4 procedures done, surgeon only did 1 and doesn't know why.  I'm happy with what I got.  I'm not taking anymore time off from work for additional surgery.  Pics are in my profile.

That sure sounds strange.  He just did a mid-lift?  I'd be calling his office.  Did you PAY for 4 procedures?

I think he was running short on time I went in at 12:30 and was done at 5:30.  He had another surgery scheduled for 5:30 and she was about to back out.  He said he didn't do the rest because I didn't have anyone to stay with me, but I did. He said he found out too late to do more. Honestly I'm happy with what I got and don't think I could have dealt with any additional pain.  This will do me just fine.  I think I would have gone insane if I had that kind of pain in my eyes.   I won't find out what he charged for until the bill comes in from the bank.

Your skin looks nice and smooth.  Is there any pain.  I hope your recovery goes quickly.

Yes there is pain, but its worth it.  Ice really helps. Pain meds dont do much.  Hope it still looks smooth when the swelling goes down.

However I never heard of a surgeon not completing what your paid for....and stopping during your surgery. I would have been very upset. He needed to take care of you and then worry about the next patient. That just isn't right.

I would be writing a letter to the medical board...just my opinion. You were mistreated. You paid for his time.

I haven't paid anything yet, its being spread over 18 months with no interest.  So I'll find out when the statement comes whether or not he charged me everything or not.  To be honest, I don't think I could have dealt with getting my eyes done at the same time.  The chin was painful enough.  He claims to have not done the rest because he thought I was going to be alone when I left the office, however, I told him he knew well ahead of time that I had someone staying with me. She was sitting in the waiting room listening to the next patient trying to get out of it.  The surgeon says he's sure thats not the reason.  But he could remember why he didn't do the rest and he had no notes on it.  I think this one procedure accomplished what I needed.
