Good mornin' ya'll.
My son's birthday is in August and someone always starts a squirt gun fight! Outside, of course!
Terrible weather yesterday closed schools and a lot of businesses. I rescheduled my Dr. appt. They even closed the base. Our son pulled 2 cars out of a ditch on his way home! No more snow today, but we had freezing rain yesterday afternoon and temps in the 20's overnight. So everything is closed again today. The south is just not prepared for snow and ice removal!
I hope that everyone facing challenges in their lives have positive outcomes.!

Gosh, where is everyone? I'm off to walk to Union Square in a second. I'm going to go to Chinatown too. I'm having fun here in SF... tomorrow I head home. My boobs are fine... I had a nice long talk with my oncologist about the big "scare". He's a gem! I'll catch up on posts tonight if my little notebook doesn't have a battery cra****hink it is going to make it!

So where is everyone ... I know I'm on here late. Another long day out galivanting around or sitting in a dentist chair. I've had my fill of dentists now, although the office is very nice and everyone there is very nice. But ... I've spent enough of my FSA for awhile.
Today, I started out at my hair salon getting beautiful ... or as beautiful as I can get. My little Cajun gal, Debbie, she does such a nice job on me and she's so reasonable ... cut and color for $75 (up $5 from August, but she explained that was product). She got me a little blonder from August because that was what I asked ... I loved what she did ... it looks great. Then I had a little running around to do ... stopped at CVS for some stuff, found some cute Christmas Peanuts stuff for 75 percent off, too, then paid for my washer/dryer, then stopped off at Starbucks for a break before going to the dentist for my cleaning/exam. I was there for almost two hours this time. They are very thorough! Not only do they clean with the manual instruments, but with this ultrasonic stuff ... and they do digital x-rays, too ... all so new! I have a female dentist, which is a first for me (not a prob, I have had female docs before and have liked them, just this is a first for a dentist).
So I do need another crown on the upper as I thought ... so after I get reimbursed from insurance on the lower, I'll get the upper done. I'll just put the money back in my savings and apply to my next procedure.
Also talked to my paralegal at the bankruptcy attorney; she said the condo association will refund the last garnishment soon. They'd better!
It's cold here, too ... 36 now and supposed to get down to 19 degrees tonight. We didn't get any snow but they still closed schools for two days ... I think that's kinda stupid. They even closed the library yesterday.
Susan, good luck on your surgery. Tomorrow, I'm going nowhere ... I may not even get out of my jammies ... just take down decorations, do laundry, hang out at home. Enough running around!

I finished my oldest grandson's afghan and started my second oldest grandson's. They are coming out great.
We are expecting two feet of snow overnight and tomorrow! That is on top of the 1 foot already on the ground from last Friday. Hubby is all ready to take care of it. We have our woodstove running continuously. I don't even want to think about going outside.
Might go to dinner with my sister and Mom on Thursday if I feel like it.
Not much else going on.
