I BIT THE BULLET.. GOING WITHOUT LOUISE!! HOW WILL I EVER SURVIVE?

Now that I've cleared this with Louise.... and she sanctions it...

I bit the bullet.  I'm getting out of my comfort zone. HEAR THAT ANNETTE?? Taking the box!!!

I've booked a 7-night cruise and going by myself.  I just need to do this.  Alone just doesn't work for me. Never has. It depresses me.  But it's a fear I must face and I'm going to.

Found out I could get the time off as business hasn't hit the fan yet but will shortly so the timing was good.

I'm going to all of the places I've been before so my entertainment will be on the ship.  I intend to spend my evenings at Karaoke or the Piano Bar.  Dinner nightly in the dress-up dining room. 

Already got planned to take the taxi to Margaritaville in Montego Bay.  Was there last year, I think. I can't even remember.  Cayman's will find me in a $2.50 taxi to the beach. Will be too cold probably to swim, but will take a book and enjoy the sunshine.  There is a tour thingee in Cozumel I just heard about where you ride horses on the beach.  I'm looking for that now.

And I plan to nap on a deck chair in the sun...

Wonder if this facelift will work...:)

Janet , You are my Hero, you Mighty Woman you. I drove to Tom's Farms today, all by myself. I truely don't know if I could Sail the Ocean Blue with a bunch of people I've yet to meet. My other problem , the Sea Sick Stuff, Yuck.      Aaaahhh, deck chair, Someone bringing you Blankets, Liquid Refreshment, all your wishes. Okay , You win, go for it. Good for you, Janet!!!   It does seem like it would be a little out of the comfort zone, but there's no reason why you can't do this & enjoy it to the fullest.    I know you'll have a great time meeting new people and also enjoy whatever time you spend to choose by yourself.   I find that you're a great person to spend time with & I think you'll find that to be true on this cruise.   Poor, poor Louise, hope she'll be able to find something to keep herself busy in your absense.    This may be a stupid question, but is there internet reception when you're on a cruise?  Sure would enjoy getting updates!

There is internet connection.. howevah... I'm not going to use it.  This is a total getaway for me.  Nada technology. I don't want to know anything but what time I'm supposed to be in the dining room.

I'm going into hiding for seven days.  I'll just be "Madge" from Tallahassee.. or.. well, hmmmm, who could I be?  And what could my 'line' be?  This could be fun, yanno.
