looking for support

I am looking for someone who has had Gastric Plicature.  I nned some feed back   Doris QC.

Welcome Doris,
I have the Lap Band so I'm not familiar with the Gastric Plicature.  How is that different from a Gastric Bypass?
There are many great people posting on this message board.  I'm sure someone with Gastric Bypass will be able to help if you provide a little more explanation of Plicature.

Sorry to say Doris, it seems that there aren't many surgeons doing this procedure yet. It looks to be very new. I didn't have time to read a lot about it, but it does look quite interesting, for sure.

Dr. Atlas in Montreal is doing the proceedure.  I asked if I was a guenne pig 9bad spelling)  she said no they have been doing it for a while.  I don't see it on his site so maybe it is new with him.
