TGIF ! what's new?

Hello, everyone:

I don't have anything interesting to post about today...I'm just writing for my website and trying to learn how to use a new much more advanced software for my mandalas.  I'm so excited about it as I had long ago grown far beyond the only professional software available and had adapted and experimented with it as much as possible.

The LITERACY video game project has just passed yet another crucial level for funding so Feir and I are getting very excited.

Today I designed my NEW business cards and will take that to the printer with my "vector artwork" and get a thousand cards printed up...I was long overdue for that to be done.

Did alot of online banking today for JB and I and for Mother...by switching her monies around to an online account, I was able to DOUBLE her interest rate at our local credit union. So it feels good to know that she is now financially secure.

This is a miracle to me since Mom was almost bankrupt when I found out how my sister had been fleecing her, and now, five years later, Mom doesn't have to ever worry about money again. My sister has been totally cut off from financially exploiting Mom now and I've been able to consolidate what Mom had left (very little) and moved into financial establishments that paid better interest and offered better options.  Whew! In a way, her minor dementia has been a blessing in that she forgot to worry and be so agitated about my sister's sob stories which is how she emotionally controlled Mom.  ~silver linings!~

My legs feel somewhat better today since the five day pouch test and I am so grateful for that.  Every pound off lessens the pressure of my lymphodema.

Snow predicted again tonight so Derek has to be at the club for 7pm , work til 4 am, then come home, change and do the salting for all of his business plaza clients...he should get home to bed around 10 am.

I've got all the ingredients to make beef vegetable & barley soup tomorrow for Mom.
