Today is the beginning of the scourge of the world, the day that the little girls in green start selling the dreaded Girl Scout Cookies. BEWARE!   They may look like little angels, but NO!  They are the minions of the dark hawking their deadly wares. DO NOT SUCCUMB TO THEIR CUTENESS!  AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!

Yesterday:

sandwich thin, LF cream cheese, turkey ham

lean cuisine lemon fish---no rice

cottage cheese/applesauce

stir fried chicken, shrimp and veggies w/ basmati rice

Don't ya know.  We learned years ago to just hand the Lil' Love's

money and walk rapidly away

 Yesterday was not a good day for me, I did not stick to my eating plan. I got into my dad's Oreos and Peanut Brittle.  Today is going to be much better, I tell myself to stay away from those types of food.

Those little darlings have finished selling here. Melanie didn't bother to ask ME, she went straight to Papa Tom. He would have bought a bunch without her batting those baby brown eyes.

SOS - I fell off the boat.

I made a pan of corn bread for Tom, mind you, I have never like the stuff. After lunch I decided to take a taste. Why oh why would I put something in my mouth knowing I don't like it?

Hells Bells - it tasted superb. So, I ate a square of corn bread. Must be losing my mind.

Time for a nap. I feel sleepy now.

I remember a time when you would never have even thought about tasting cornbread.

AND that little box is a treasured possession for sure.  I smile everytime I look at it.... it sits prominently on my coffee table.

Oh Annette...I can so sympathize!!  Our weather turned freezing and chili and corn bread sounded soooo good....but touchy pouchy didn't think likewize LOL  One of the worst episodes of dumping I've ever had!!!  And I know it wasn't the chili :-(

Chili is always good. After the corn bread, I slept for hours. It was a good sleeping pill.
