Happy New Year! What's New?
We also turned the TV off at 10:00 and fell asleep here at the hospital. If that's what you call sleeping with the IV pump alarms going off all night. Not sure why that was happening since it's the first night we've experienced it. One night he clamped it all off and had all the nurses scrambling to figure out what was wrong.
Waiting to see what 2011 has in store for us. We will just take it as it comes.

I just got back from WM. Wow, I got some bargains! Christmas t-shirts for $1.50, Christmas jammie pants for $2.50. I don't care if they have Christmas sayings. Nobody sees me in my jammies except family! Lots of little Christmassy things for 75 cents. I got some for my DIL who has to have Secret Santa things. They do an entire week of gifts. Mon thru Thurs $1 limit, final day $10 limit. I wish I knew someone who needed dishes. In the Christmas section they had plain white china dishes. A set of 4 of each thing ( salad plates, dinner plates, cereal bowls, cups) only $1.50. You could get an entire service for 8 for $6!!! My DH said I should have gotten all I could and donated them to Salvation Army or a women's shelter!!
Dang, why didn't I think of that! But I'm not going back out because: I dropped one of the Christmas things at the store and broke it (the lady who came to clean it up said they have had more broken than they sold), then the ATM was out of order and I had to drive to our bank to use one, the gas station I go to (cheapest in town) was out of gas, I got so frustrated I stopped at Hardee's on the way home and got a milkshake. GRRR! Not a good way to start the new year. I demand a do over!!

I missed the ball drop. What's new? I've been staying up till 12-12:30 most nights lately, but last night at 10 I realized I couldn't keep my eyes ope, so went to bed early. It may have had something to do with spending the afternoon shopping on the Elmwood Strip with a girlfriend all afternoon. It's an artsy-fartsy area in Buffalo, many blocks long, filled with boutiques and galleries. Unfortunately, most of the galleries were closed, and most of the "boutiques" had touristy junk. A disappointment. But a good time, with an old friend, made it enjoyable.
At 2:30 this morning the cats must have decided it was time to celebrate New Year's, because they got wild and crazy. Running, jumping, poking me to wake me up. Monica, I think if your husband would have been around, he would have thad three more females to dance with! I finally made them leave me alone and went back to sleep around 4. Just got up. Guess I was tired.
Thus concludes another exciting holiday for me.
I hope Janet's party and food fest went well.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
Well I am sitting here with a headache this morning and not sure why. I only had a sip of HOT DAM last night at midnight to toast in the new year. GRRR Got my New Years kiss then off he went to be next door to have a "shot" with the neighbors!!!!! GRRRRRRRRR Maybe that is why I have a headache this morning??? Or maybe its the weather??
The soap opera continues here with his daughter...she refuses to come over for her gifts. She is Pissed at us because we will not give her money. Well she needs to grow up and learn to save her money for her bills like the rest of us have to do and not spend it on getting her hair colored and getting tattos and piercings and whatever else she spends her money on!!! She makes as much money as I do so why doesn't she have enough money to pay her bills?? Rick's mom said she would take the gifts over to her for us. Rick said BS she isn't getting them unless she comes here when we are BOTH here to see her open them!!! AMEN! :-)
Well I best get out of here and get some clothes on abd take Bandit out for potty walk. Then I am going to make some country ribs for our New Years dinner along with some scallopped potatoes and some kind of veggies. Going to watch the parade also.
